It won a game for me today against LS by simply sitting on the field and allowing me to stall and banish everything that got in the way of my opponent milling himself to death. You know what it does, you know that it's broken, but consider this a test to see if you can manage a worthwhile discussion on ANY card. Discuss. Absurdly easy to Summon, this is possibly the most splashable legal "boss" monster in the game at the moment. The most worrisome part is that it doesn't seem to perform like the broken card we know it is, which indicates a discouraging fact about the meta. It's amazingly good, but it singlehandledly isn't defining the meta the way that some past boss monsters have/are doing. This card wins games. Simple as that. If you can't stop it quickly, you will probably lose. Being able to banish any monster on the field for no real cost, face-up or facedown, and 3000 ATK means that very little can actually challenge it. Further layers of defense can make it even stronger, and the ability to attack again if you defeat a monster means that swarming the field defensively is little good. Gachi Gachi and Zenmaines hate this thing, as do lesser boss monsters like Grapha. Card should not have returned to the cardpool, priority removed or not. Unfortunately, I dont know if it'll get banned again in March. Probably, but it's not making the blatantly broken impact we predicted and expected. In theory it seemed to fit fine with everything else the metagame had. However, theory isn't reality, and it proved itself to be a broken, meta-breaking card, that makes the game revolve too much on luck. Konami will almost definitely ban this come March. [/quote] Right now, I view it as another boss monster, much like Hyperion, Trishula, etc. Very powerful, a game-winning card, but it's not quite what I expected with its return. It doesn't singlehandedly win duels most of the time, unless I drop this turn 2 or something, although I usally have the advantage then anyway. See, it had just been the March 2011 format, where certain decks were insanely powerful and the rest could barely keep up, if at all. BLS is in almost every deck now, but it's not as destructive as the March 2011 format. So it doesn't feel like it's making an impact. Though maybe they're making the Dragon deck cause they think chaos will have grown so large at the time of its banning that people will turn to Dragonchaos. It's not a bad thing, because power creep in this type of game is inevitable. This card originally came out in OCG in 2003, right? It's been six years since its banning and I find that an acceptable length of power creep, especially since 2 new mechanics have been introduced in that time span.
