And it's permanent. We just wished it could work with Tour Guide But oh well.
This Account is Unplayable
Tour Guide should've had Skill Drain clause, just for this. Seems like side material at best, tbh, or else your deck's too dedicated on this really.
Mischief of the Yokai and Stygian Dirge already f*** up with opponent's plays a lot. PDSControl.dek is actually pretty fun.

CDDRodrigo
But isn't the tribute a cost?
Sangan works with Tour Guide because it ACTIVATES in the Graveyard. This activates on the field. Same as Lonefire + Debris Dragon.
Yes, but the thing is, Tour Guides says "negate its effect". It activates on field, tributing itself (paying the cost) and then fails to resolve, because its effect is negated. The Warden
Odd, I remember seeing Black play a Fiend deck that summoned this through Tour Guide. I thought this card worked like Stardust when under Skill Drain.

Tour Guide says "its effect is negated" (doesn't specify) It's all in wording.

DARKPLANT RISING
My friend sided this against Inzecters. He forgot I searched another Damsel, and it ended in nothing.
The Warden
But wouldn't that imply when it's just on the field?
Blake
Broken, you were there when I realized that didn't work ._. An that was months ago. Seriously, I've not been on DMG in Minths, either.
Agro
Guise you're all doing this wrong. This card's point has forever been to be fusion material for Dark Baltar the Terrible. Also, idea sounds cool and first 3 posts made it sound like Tour Guide has 3 different effects.

Ieyasu Tokugawa
Skill Drain and Plasma allow this to work because they state face-up monsters. Fiendish Chain and similar allows it to work because it would be destroyed immediately after the target left the field, in the middle of the chain. Everything else doesn't care about costs. Just where the effect activates.
RyanAtlus
Would be hilarious if it could be activated during the opponent's turn... ;D
