ragnarok1945
which by today's standards mean nothing why do you think so many early teens (like 13-15) go watch R rated horror films now?
Sander
Oh geez, from torture to torture top anime to movie standards? This is why you were chased out from General in the first place, ragnarok, because you always derailed topics.

evilhorus
Ok, I'm going to get tortured for x reason. Whichever reason you prefer. Hey, lets go with waterboarding, it's topical. You can replace that with the Rack if you're feeling dramatic. I get interrogated. In fear of torture, I give away my info. This is already a path to a disaster. I get tortured. I give away the rest of my info, unless I gave it all away before. I might make up some BS to get away, which defeats the point of interrogation in the first place. Nothing worthwhile has been gained, and you might have gotten BS answers. There are so many other ways to get info. But then again, I wonder if it's necessary. Also, some Japanese soldiers were hanged in WWII for waterboarding US soldiers. Odd. I'm actually on the fence, one minute I'm against, the next "the end justifies the means". ragnarok1945
exactly my point therefore, under that logic, if the people who do the torturing gets the info they want (and it's proven true), then they will say what they're doing is justified because it works

Oh My Anubis!
Torture and interrogation, eh? Well, I think they should use those 2 things to replace the death penalty. The death penalty is much too merciful to those who deserve it. But... it is immoral.
ragnarok1945
immoral is just a POV, tell that to the torturers

Cherz
It is? i thought it was instant death. well, i cant say im supprised. it probably hurts alot untill u die. Im iffy bout it. It really depends on the situation.
ragnarok1945
well the person subjected to it is in pain, but since the guy's unconscious, you can't tell
Ieyasu Tokugawa
What now we're on the death penalty? Wow topics stray off easily o.o And I'm pretty sure lethal injection is torturous, they just knock the person out to keep them from feeling as much pain since it's slow, and try to make it "humane". Tentacruel
There's really no way to ensure instant death. Maybe we should knock them out with heavy sedatives and deep-freeze the body.
ragnarok1945
technically that's still a form of torturing since that's not really killing to that regard, the firing squad is a lot closer to NON-torture death penalty because as long as the person aimed right, it's quick and painless
