2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; activate 1 of these effects.
● Target 3 monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into your Deck, then draw 1 card.
● Target 1 Non-Effect Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

No really, Emeral's 2nd effect is so under-rated, but its so game-winning due to the possibilities of what it can Summon, and what it can help you Xyz Summon, as well as being [s]obviously[/s]amazingly consistent with Rabbit.
Discuss.

Detach from this and target Blue-Eyes.

Play Ancient Rules and SS another Blue-Eyes.

Overlay for you-know-who.

Or, you know, revive Red-Eyes instead and Overlay for Big Eye, then proceed to steal the Opponent's strongest monster.

I use it all the time in Sparkman...>_< Actually...Thank's To Emeral's Second Effect I'm Allowed to Rank 4 Xyz Spam more in a single Turn than with out it...(Field in Those Cases always ends in Double Emeral/Emeral + Chain and Either Shock Ruler or Disigma)

On the other hand...I barely use the Shuffle and Draw effect...O_O

one thing it curious me on the 2nd effect. the way it been worded. because as you see some cards that do SS a Normal monster as they use the term of "Normal Monster" and this one says non-effect monster... I would think it more in dept of something but i could be wrong.

It Summons Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth, Scrap Archfiend, Gem-Knight Pearl, GEM-KNIGHT ZIRCONIA. Pretty much, anything, including Fusions, Synchros, and Gem-Knight Pearl, that don't say 'Effect' in their thing can be Summoned by this.

This thing served its purpose all too well.

[Anecdote start]
Opponents field consists of Shi En +a random Kizan

My field is Mandrago. 2 Heliotropes in Grave, Rabbit and a Castor in hand.

My turn, use rabbit to make this with dinos.

Detach, revive a Heliotrope

Xyz Mandrago and Heliotrope into Bahamut

Bahamut steals Shi En

[/anecdote]

I love it.

What are you talking about, Armz? The second effect is all I ever used, except in some random circumstances where I have no space in my field but would appreciate extra hand.
This is a reason I run A Hero Lives in my Gaia the Dragon Champion deck. Going first turn AHL for Stratos, searching Prisma, summoning prisma and dumping Gaia with it, ,hen going Emeral and summoning that Gaia, then summon a second Gaia with Ancient Rules, or Silent Doom/Swing of Memories, if I had Future Fusion in my hand; is all worthy of the 4000 LP.
I also use this in my Sea Lancer deck, where I can recycle frogs or summon Genex Controller.
Now I've been using in my Masked Rabbit Des Gardius deck, as it has a lot of targets there, and is a Rock for Dark Gaia.

A Normal Monster is specifically a monster with the yellow-white border, like Blue-Eyes.

A non-Effect Monster includes all Normal Monsters, but also non-Normal Monsters that aren't Effect Monsters, such as Fusions, Synchros, or Xyz that don't have the "Effect" Tag.

The first card to really call this distinction to mind is Non-Spellcasting Area, from DCR.
