It inspired me to play Fish before it was cool. Double Quasar+Trishula/Shooting Star+Exodia was cool, I guess, but most opponents quit before the combo ends (like, 15 minutes later). Now it can still go the old double lv8 or Trishula+Gungnir. The Xyz opened a lot of new options for this card, and it's one of the best way of summoning rnk4s that require 3 materials (I am already expecting Sea Biting Drake to be released). [/quote] ^This. for some reason Water monster get bit less level, imo its stats and effects is like level 8 but it's not. and for giga gagagigo it's level 5 with 2450 ATK and can be NS'd without tribute with ALO, if that was compare to Summoned Skull whose is 2500 ATK and level 6. is there a reason behind it? A good way is dumping it with Genex Undine, Foolish Burial or maybe Future Fusion. Lavalval Chain is also an option now. Then summon it from the graveyard with Monster Reborn, Call of the Haunted or Symbols of Duty (if you dumped it with Undine, then now you have Controller in hand. 7-Colored Fish is also played at 2 or 3 in this variant). You can also banish it with Gold Sarcophagus, or from the graveyard with Fenrir or Phantom of Chaos (that can also be used for the effect, instead of reborning this, now that Xyz make it good to have most of your monsters being of the same level) and then summoned with D.D.R. Of course, there are the options to summon it from the hand, like Mausoleum of the Emperor, Star Blast, Big Wave Small Wave, Tribute Doll (better last format, as you would use it for a synchro with Fishborg anyways, so it didn't matter it could not attack), tributing Swap Frog/Treeborn Frog/Ronintoadin and Fishborg for it (again, last format).
