[/quote]So why not have a law that allows for it to not be in the city and a maximum range away from the city. Fireworks still are used here on the holidays, like New Years, July 4th, etc. They are just used with permission from the state and have a designated area to use them. One flew (quite low) through the back door where me and mum were watching and getting a drink from inside the kitchen and I stood on it. Thankfully I had pretty thick shoes on... Luckily they exploded at my feet in front of me but some of the Sparks caught me in the eyes. Let's just say that I don't go out at night during November to January though. And my other cousin who's in the navy called us and said they were gonna shoot off some colored flak from the AA guns on the ship in lieu of fireworks. Navy sounds like fun. I have not seen him since . The strange part is that he was not afraid of thunderstorms and would sometimes kill the neighbor's dogs, seriously.
