I don't see any good loop, but if the latter situation is correct, then Prophecy's place on the banlist seems like a gigantic overreaction. You would use it to recycle super bannable cards like Monster Reborn, Dark Hole, etc etc. But that's such a stupid combo. I'd prefer to use it as a quick way to screw with people in a duel.
