Last I checked, DWs still have the ability to top, and do actually top in the OCG on occasion. And if they were crap I wouldn't of put him on there. Both can ruin some consistency. Not as likely, but it'd be a smarter move. Dandylion was a dumb idea. how does anyone not see an unplayed card not going to 3? And D-Draw is just what I think. Also, they lack mutliple winning formulas given their only good ace monster is Grapha, and they can't Synchro except by Raven. Compared to other decks such as T.G. We must produce worthwhile discussion by talking with each other about the pros and cons of certain cards in the metagame. Overall, I see many things that should be banned, and should have been banned long ago, as well as others that should be reduced in number, but simply stating lists of cards I want to be banned would be biased based on what one is _-hurt over losing to before. Earth can't search itself, and Agents have very few targets in the first place: Mercury (sucks), Venus (very good), Jupiter (eh), Saturn (epic, but bad), and Mars (meh). Only if you run Sanctuary Agents do you get access to Hyperion. If being an archetype searcher was all the criteria for limiting, Infernity Archfiend, Black Whirlwind (wait...), Gravekeeper's Recruiter (which CAN search itself), etc should all be limited. Earth on its own is just a +0 searcher that needs to be Normal Summoned. And anyone who genuinely believes Royal Oppression is anything but bad for the game clearly doesn't understand what it's used for. It's not one of those cards you just flip over for the hell of it. You flip it when you either already SSed a ton, have cards that bypass it (Grandmaster, Vayu) or don't SS much at all (Gadgets/Anti-meta). If you're winning, you can shut down your opponent's strategies and gain advantage with ease, and if they dont get rid of it immediately, they will almost definitely lose. Oppression is pretty much a guaranteed +0. It'll either kill whatever is being SSed/trying to SS, or the opponent will have to use something to destroy it, like Solemn or MST. If they don't, every SS from then on is a +1, plus it locks down almost all strategies. The game is very much dependant on playing numerous low ATK/Level monsters and using them to make bigger monsters. Unlke other SS lockdown cards like Fossil Dyna and Kristya, which simply deny the ability to SS, Oppression negates the cards that SS and destroys them. Whereas Fossil or Kristya simply creates dead cards until they're removed, at which point the opponent will have tons of swarm options, Oppression plays for keeps, turning dead cards into advantage by destroying them. The main way to break Oppression is to drop your opponent's LP, and with battle being the primary form of LP damage, this is much easier said than done.
