Number 32: Marine Biting Dragon - Shark Drake

Recommended Posts

This and Focus Force are confirmed for Galactic Overlord. IRL effect is unconfirmed, but the anime effect is:

WATER Sea-Serpent Xyz Effect
3 Level 4 monsters
[s]This card can only be destroyed by battle with another "Number" monster. [/s]Once per turn, when this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon the destroyed monster to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Attack Position, reduce its ATK by 1000, and attack it again with this card.

Knowing Konami and their recent reverse nerfs, they MIGHT neg the "Once per turn". Dunno.

Although it's a bit hard to summon, it can deal a lot of damage, and two of these can deliver an OTK. Easiest way to bring it out is with Gadgets. But you know, it dulls in comparison to the other Rank 4s that need 3 monsters, Vylon Disigma, Shock Ruler, and Verz Ouroboros. It's decent, easier to summon than other Rank monsters, and can inflict a lot of damage, but I would just call it decent.

I'm hoping for a reverse-nerf. If they remove the 'once per turn' part, this may very well be capable of OTKing the opponent. And then it will be good.

If it's OCG, Kenta gets the news much more quickly than we do. We do not question the methods of the Japanese.

Though, Marine Biting Dragon, if Konami removed once per turn, would be a very worthy edition to the 3 Level 4 monster line-up. After all, you need to use those 3 monsters for something.

Its nice, but as is I would use Shock Ruler or Disigma first. Buff it up a bit, then we might have something. What Galactic Overload needs is Shock Ruler, Big Eye, 2 or 3 incredible TCG exclusives, and a Xyzs monster that will become a staple for the Sneak Peak card.

Not really sure how or why they would nerf this, considering your Opponent is likley to abuse this more then you can, with cards like Sangan or Giant Rat.

We were talking about reverse-nerfs, hence making the card better. Also:

The key word is the bolded word. Your opponent can't abuse your Number 32 with Sangan and such unless you want them to.

Yep, it's 2800.

This means the only current number that's anime only is 15. I hope it's in GAOV :(.

Probably.

My guess is Black Corn and Thunderspark Dragon will be in Return of the Duelist.

Evidently, Number 15 is going to be a promo in Japan.

But I'm not surprised this would be in GAOV. It's decent enough, and its effect is lulzy, but there's no really good way to use it. If it's not "once per turn", it'd be a bit too good, depending on what you destroyed.

It's a Number, though. It's mostly a plot device and while it's decent, it's not worth running.
