[/quote] Well yes, Appropriate can abuse this even more, so can Empty Jar, since drawing for them is good when you flip Jar. Also the stopping damage means you can do the otk or whatever never next turn. The damage stopping is also good in Chain Burn and the extra draw is nice since Chain Burn don't have much protection. for stuff like Exodia it means 3 less cards in your deck. [/quote] It not only works.. it's a must in Final Countdown :3 non-Trap shield that does not care of S/T removal... while at the same time helping you draw into stuff faster. With all the Zero Gardnas and Thunder of Rulers and Threatening Roars and Wabokus and Battle Faders out there, Final Countdown can make it. Swift Scarecrow, Battle Fader, Zero Gardna, and this card give it a good chance, but it's still a little bit heavy on Traps for the rest. Draw power is not quite the issue with the Deck really, they have about enough atm.. surviving the 20 turns is the bigger priority. but yeah... its viable to some degree. [/quote] I like the fact people think running Traps in Final Countdown is a good idea this format. Deck will be awesome when Card Car D gets released. Also, can anyone explain why they think this card should be on the list? That's like saying; "RyanAtlus is annoying and I don't like him, so he should be banned from ycm." So I don't see how your post said anything contradicting mine. Card Car D is good, but for Final Countdown, More stall > More draw. One would say it's enough with 3 Upstart Goblins, 3 One Day of Piece, and your choice in Pot of Duallities already. It's a 31-card Deck with all it's card pretty much at 3. [/quote] Exactly how much experience with the Decktype did the people of who you've seen lists have? And obviously, you're not going to +1 with Car D unless you have a Fader or Scarecrow, preferable the last one.
