evilfusion Posted February 18, 2012 Report Share Posted February 18, 2012 Starlight's slightly more conditional than Huge Revolution is Over (as the latter can be used against ANY card that destroys 2 or more cards ANYWHERE on the Field), but better due to the Stardust Summoning. But Starlight is vulnerable to Solemn Warning and Spell Speed 2 negation (Laggia, Barkion, Shi En, Stardust, etc). Still an amazing card. But it's losing a bit of steam. MST tends to hit it way more than it's around for Heavy Storm and the like, and most of the cards you'd want to counter mass destruction with have more versatility. Black Rose Dragon can be countered with Veiler or Solemn Warning, both of which can stop more than just Black Rose Dragon. Heavy Storm can be countered by minimizing your non-chainable backrow, or Solemn Judgment, the latter being a "get out of jail for half your LP" card for almost any situation. Road, however, has only the purpose of countering mass destruction, and it's a risky endeavor even then. It's best used for Decks that need or want to commit more resources to the Field.
