YCS Leipzig

Recommended Posts

I didn't see a thread for this yet...
...and it caught my attention again cause I got a text last night saying "wanna come to leipzig with us?"
Sad RyanAtlus can't cause he's got stuff to do.

EDIT: this is quite relevant.

Unless I'm like retarded and don't know what day it is because of vacation, this starts tomorrow and the thread will be completely irrelevant until day 2.
Gravekeeper's Spy was Flip Summoned, however, Platteau chained Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror to its effect. Kluitenberg wasn’t happy, but asked if he could activate Pot of Duality. The judge ruled that it was possible to activate Pot of Duality, but again Platteau used his right to appeal. This time the head judge ruled in his favor, not allowing Kluitenberg to activate the Spell Card. Kluitenberg instead Set a monster and passed.
Hey, look. A head judge was wrong.

Thought that too while reading it... Technically, an effect that ss'd was activated, despite not resolving.
Yes, but if it's an effect and not an inherent summon that was negated, then Pot of Duality is still live.

Head Judge was right though
I was told that if it's an effect to SS that's negated, then Duality is still usable, only if it's an inherent summon will it not be.
