IceDorago
Obviously nothing. As has been said, everything has a reason behind it, and while I wish some things would be gone/had never happened sometimes, I know that without them, the world wouldn't be how it is today. Some may argue that that's a good thing, but hey, I kind of like being alive.

The Amazing Avian
Germany would probably not exist.
You realize Germany existed long before Adolf Hitler was born right? OT: Organized Religion. Yes, religious nuts will hate me for this, but I find religion to be against progress. When the church was in control of the governments in Europe, anybody who thought religion might be wrong would be branded a heretic and usually killed. If this oppression hadn't existed, imagine where humanity would be now. Also, greed. It is also one of the banes of progress. Politicians get so consumed with power and money that they eventually stop caring about what's right and look towards profit.

The Amazing Avian
I would remove aging once one reaches 30. Humanities possibilities would be near to endless.
You realize as people age, their health naturally deteriorates. If people stopped aging, then we would essentially be immortal. I don't know about you, but I think 7 Billion people is a lot to have on one planet, and if people don't die, the world would be pushing that even further. There is a carrying capacity to this planet and I really don't want to know what it is.
Tentacruel
But since human possibilities would be endless we could figure out how to terraform. Or we would just kill ourselves.
Twig
Remove one thing, we'd have something else to complain about. Seriously, it's like that theory. If you solve a first world problem, a thousand new problems will take its place. It's also like an answer would only lead to more questions. One thing that I do think would better the world if it disappeared is pride.
