So they've confirmed on the Wikia 5 OOParts monsters, some spells, and another trap used by III.

But not Number 33 for some reason.

Also...

WHY NO GIMMICK PUPPETS!?! STILL!!!
[/quote]

Because Gimmick Puppets suck.

No seriously, I really, really hope Gimmick Puppets dont get support. Not to spite you or IV fans, or anything like that. What non-Number Gimmick Puppets are anything but conditional crap? Keeping in mind a portion of all packs tends to be conditional crap. If we get pack support for Gimmick Puppets, it takes away some of the slots for non-stupid archetype support, like Hieroglyphs and maybe some of the archetypes they semi-created in GAOV.

- Baby Face is a 0/0 that can revive a monster from the opponent's Graveyard to the opponent's Field if that monster killed Baby Face in battle.

...And you ever want to do this? Ever?

- Scarecrow ...what the hell does this thing even do? IV didnt use its effect.

- Necro Doll is cool. Level 8, can be SSed from Grave if you banish another Necro Doll from Grave.

- Bomb Egg, it's 800 burn for a discard once per turn.

Gimmick Box is epic, though. The two Numbers will definitely be released (Number 15 already is), and Level Cross is good. But at the moment, Gimmick Puppets have next to no support because IV's dueling is a one-trick pony pretending not to be. Character = epic. Deck = sucks.

III, on the other hand, has used many more different cards than IV has, for the same number of duels. He had all those cards he used against Shark, and all the cards he used against Kaito and Yuma, and it seems likely even MORE cards will appear within another few episodes. So III's OOPArts becoming real seems like a good thing.

And we know Number 33 is almost sure to be released in that pack, too. That or as a promo.

Annoyingly, all that is true.

Scarecrow is a 2000 DEF attack lure that can form a lock (I think), it's not too bad. Necro Doll, Giimck Box, Repair Puppet and the revival spell all do a good to decent job, as does Level Cross.

Tbh most main characters decks suck competively real world speaking though. A lot of the recurring monsters used by Yuma, Kaito (you've admited this) and even Shark are as terrible.

That's true, a lot of anime cards are mediocre, and yes, I freely admit that outside of Galaxy-Eyes, almost every card Kaito has used is trash.

But the Gimmick Puppets stand out as an even worse unnecessary archetype to produce in RL because they have very little synergy amongst themselves. Whereas some anime archetypes you can look at them and say "this has potential"...I dont really see much potential in Gimmick Puppets. Whatever they can do, other cards can do much better, and GAOV had those stupid Anna and Construction cards that made some of us rage because of how stupid they were in the anime and they took up pack slots. Gimmick Puppets aren't too far off from that level, except the character that uses them is actually a significant character.

I'm not too excited about OOPArts, but I prefer them over Gimmick Puppets. But Gimmick Box and/or Level Cross would be awesome.

Hieroglyphes have probably ended with GAOV either way.

Yes, the Gimmick Puppets certainly DO suck outside their Xyz and Necro Doll. At least, so far. IV has been pretty much guranteed another duel with Shark, and he probably would get another duel or two too.

I hope they make more support for them to make them centered around Rank 8's.

OT: Yayz.
