Compulsory Evacuation Device

Recommended Posts

This card is good for emptying decks or boosting yourself. Two great ways I use this card (since it is in almost every deck I play.)

1.) My opponent uses Venus and commits to Gachi. CED his Gachi and he has no more balls to summon with, since the materials get sent to grave.

2.) Someone attacks you, or uses tons of equips or spells on a cards. CED it and it wastes cards.

3.) (I did this today during lunch with Inzektors.) Have a Centipede with any Inzektor equiped to it (hopper in the instance I used it.) CED Centipede, search when hopper is sent to grave for Mantis. Normal summon Centipede, equip Hop from grave and equip Mantis from hand. Detach hopper and search out Zektaxe. You get a 3600 attk direct that cannot be stoped by traps, just because of two cards and CED.

I find this card very useful. ESPECIALLY in this meta. When it first came out, it was meh. It is so easy to get, yet people don't understand how GOOD it is.

Amazing this format, along with Raigeki Break.

At first I was like "What's he been smoking?".
Then I realized you play OCG.

Still, good in TCG too. Sending a Gearframe back when they try to Hole you is so damn hailarious.

In OCG, every deck should run at least 2 copies of one or two of the following: (1) Raigeki Break, (2) CED, or (3) Fiendish Chain. 2 or 3 Veiler is considered a staple given it can also stop Rabbit here. Maxx "C" is rarely ran in the main deck, and is more often sided at 2 (that'll change when Extra Pack 5 comes, tho'.)

It's like, soooooo good this format, since most boss monsters this format don't live in your hand unlike the last format.

And then you remember that LS/Twilight got a boost.
JD laughs hysterically at this.

But yea...Idk why I've never used this. Same for D Fissure. I even see them as great cards, I just simply don't use them for whatever reason. I guess space is a problem, if that makes any sense.

I haven't heard about this card in forever. Bounce your opponent's boss monsters, bounce your monsters to set off Divine Wind, recycle Metaion.

You can't fathom how badly I want to edit Compulsory with Kayne West saying "Imma let you finish, but Imma bouncin your monster now" and Judgment Dragon replacing the monster, editing JD's art with a troll face saying "ohohoho", then editing CED's art with Kayne and a rage face.
