3 Level 4 Spellcaster-Type monsters.
When this monster is Xyz Summoned successfully, you can select up to 2 Level 4 or below Spellcaster-Type monsters from your Deck and send them to your Graveyard. As long as this monster remains face-up on your field, the Rank of all face-up monsters on the field is also treated as its Level. Once per turn during Main Phase 1 you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to select 1 Spell or Trap Card from your Deck and add it to your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase on the turn that you activate this effect.

It does. That also means a Xyz monster that has used all of its Attachements can then be used for things such as Synchro Summoning. The Drawback is that all Xyz monsters are not affected by Level based cards such as Gravity Bind.

Idg the rank=level effect. Eplain please?

Otherwise 1000 attack for 3 lvl 4s seems bad. Don't be afraid to buff that part. No battle phase helps with the search effect.

True True. I already gave a Drawback at the end. I'll bump her to 1800 or so. Probally drop the DEF a little then.

EDIT: Wow! editing it on Yugico, changes it her too :3

Rank2Level effect seems very strange and abusable, though the summoning requirements work to compensate quite nicely. This would actually go extremely well in a Spellcaster archetype I made some time ago. I like it.
Though, maybe ANY spell or trap is a bit much.

Couple of things. "Level 4 or lower" would be the correct wording, I think. As for the "during Main Phase 1", I don't think you should distinguish between Main Phase 1 and 2, since I've only ever seen "Main Phase" on cards before (maybe there are specific examples of referring to MP 1 or 2, I'd like to see an example if you could provide one). The Rank = Level effect seems to be a nice idea, although I'm not sure about the balance of it, as not all decks have cards that affect levels like Level Limit Area B and such.

I couldn't mention Main Phase 2 as that was AFTER the Battle Phase. I wanted the choice to get a Spell or Trap but have to avoid the Battle.

Here's a MP1 example.

Spellcasters in the Grave = good opportunity for Recurssion. Also possible Deck Thinning to as the Spell & Trap effect could link into grabbing something really useful such as Drawing Power for Exodia.

Also Exodia is Spellcasters so yeah :D

That'd be funny to use.
The quickest way seems to be Summoner Monk + Summoner Monk + 1 Spellcaster (I'd go for Lyla for the Spell/Trap destruction, then Xyz with it =P )

According to the way it's writen, it should also make them affected by Level-based card effects. If you want them to somehow still be unaffected, while being able to be used for Synchros, I can try and come up with something.

Overall lovely card. I like it quite a bit.
