Obligatory Chant: The light shines from the darkness...Slowly, the earth churns, and the face of our world is cracked and marred by his awakening...Molten earth, rise and crash down upon our foes, and bathe them in burning agony! Bring our foes to the edge of primordial DESPAIR! Using my two monsters, I form the Overlay Network! Xyz Summon, Number 6: OOParts Atlanthal! Now tremble, and allow the despair to crush your soul!

2 Level 6 monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned: Target 1 "Number" monster in your Graveyard; equip that target to this card. This card gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the monster equipped by this effect. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and send 1 card equipped by this effect to the Graveyard; halve your opponent's Life Points. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect.

Discuss this awesome piece of awesome.

I'm wondering why it has a giant "06" next to it, when its Number is clearly visible.

The theory Evilfusion has is that this and Giant Killer were MADE by Tron somehow, given how they're both Xyz used by his cronies and they're the only two to have the Numbers like that in the background.

It's meant as a way to differentiate the "evil" ones made by Tron and the slightly less "evil" ones like Macchu Mach, I figure.

That part was my theory, which supported evilfusion's theory.

OT: It... Just... No. Messiah 7 is better. Streak Bouncer is better. Exa-Beetle is better. Halving the LP is cool and all, but... Just... No.

So who else noticed Number 33 in the middle of the body?
We all did, when we first saw this card's artwork in earlier topics.
I don't think this card is meant to OTK, it's just supposed to be a beatstick.
It's OTK basically involves using Future Fusion.
Though, yea, it's more of a beatstick rather then an OTK-er.

Number 6's anime art is identical to the RL art.

And my theory was Tron has more control in terms of designing Numbers, since Number 6 is explicitly his, given to III, but Number 6 is an OOPArts, which is III's archetype. And IV and III's Numbers are all part of their respective archetypes, which is often cited as a contradiction of the role of Numbers, 12 being the first exception. The fact Number 15 and 6 have their Number in the background of their art is...interesting.

Card is pretty meh. 2 Level 6 monsters for a beatstick that relies on you having another Number in Grave, and can only use its effect once...
