The box size was increased so they could fit longer effects without it becoming illegible. They said this on one of those little handouts you get with a structure deck. Konami was possibly in a rush when they printed the cards for the starter deck, so they'll fix the holoing eventually. If not, its slightly annoying but not worth throwing a fit about. Reminds me of the Gold Series prints and they look as tacky as anything. I still dont understand why the need for a change when the card layout before this was only a year old. I just personally think it could've been proportioned better but then again, maybe i am looking at it in a bit of an artsy-fartsy way. I just also think with other TCGs such as Magic and Pokemon (hate to compare to other TCGs but whatever), there revisions of cards have made them more stylistic and allow not only for the text to stand out, but the art aswell. Just because the holo-ing was rushed doesn't make the card less legit than the rest.
