But it appears that the idea will pretty much be: Deep Sea Diva, Special Summon this, This gets over opponent's monster, Special Summon that other one, then tribute all 3. -Lightray Daedalus- Posted April 27, 2012 Report Share Posted April 27, 2012 It is not like the other this little guys are bad...(Thought I'm still firmly in that Poseidra is not really worth the commitment and that SS could have had a more interesting Boss)...it is that people expected that konami finally will make sence and give the Sea Serpents that DW/whatever treatment they were wanting for so long...and that they deserve...but like eveytime we get a spare Sea Serpent update they do it with decent to subpar themes only prefering to leave more interesting mechanics for the typical types...that's anoying...Still these 2 guys the "Athlateans" are kinda interesting...and give Diva more Tools to pull off...I'd kinda liked that this one has its second effect activated the same way than his brother...mostly coz there are more useful Discard than tribute effects for WATERS... It's also a +2 if you use it with Poseidra by Diva -> This (+1) -> Armed Soldier (+1) -> Poseidra from Grave (-2) -> their effects (+2) Not necessarily a good combo, but Atlanteans have potential.
