Manjoume Thunder Posted May 12, 2012 Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 I actually played a bit of this with some friends today Bonus rules we used: -There is a HERO deck that includes (Elemental Heroes, Destiiny Heroes, etc ...). I am not sure if that includes the likes of Hero Ring and Hero's Rule 2. We forgot about Neo Spacians so we didn't decide anything about them. -Some decks can use cards that are not part of the archetype (poly and super poly for heroes, shien's daredevil for Six Samurai, Dark Smog for Dark Worlds, etc ...) -No Effect Veiler or anything like that. It can be used to balance the format but it kind of defeats the purpose. [spoiler=What I played] 12 1x Elemental HERO Stratos 3x Elemental HERO Neos Alius 3x Elemental HERO Ocean 1x Elemental HERO Captain Gold 1x Elemental HERO Prisma 1x Elemental HERO Wildheart 1x Elemental HERO Ice Edge 19 3x E - Emergency Call 3x Skyscraper 2 - Hero City 1x Skyscraper 2x Super Polymerization 3x Miracle Fusion 3x Mask Change 2x R - Righteous Justice 2x A Hero Lives 9 3x Hero Blast 3x Hero Barrier (oh lol) 3x Mirror Gate (hilarious TCG rulings) [/spoiler] It's kind of bad but hilarious. Mirror Gate + Ocean + Skyscraper 2 is amazing. Other decks that we tested: Dark Worlds and Lightsworn (both are almost unstoppable if they open with their spell cards (charge and recharge for LS; lightning and Dealings for DW) but can get very awkward hands that can't do anything) Unexpected mvps: LS Saber and Brron Six Samurai (op as f***) It was also also interesting how no one could find some of the more obscure BW and Inzektor cards. Substitoad would make it alot better (probably not god tier but you get my point). [/quote] This. They can mill all the Frogs they want with Sub@3, and still have no win condition. Also, with Disk Commander: Captain Tenacious, Dread Master, and Fear Monger.
