Cocoon Party and Chrysalis in general

the archtype didnt have a real point because they were situational and pointless . now that Xyz are out, they can spam themselves with "Cocoon Party" and then xyz 1-2 monsters a turn without the normal summon.

I don't really think there's enough space to run Neo-Spacians and Chrysalis monsters.

This card and the chrysalis really shouldn't exist, because there are much better ways of getting out the Xyzs that you want/need. And basically, what Cakey said.

The thing about Cacoon Party is that it's a double edged sword.
The card has the potential to Summon 5 monsters at once, resulting in a +4.
The drawback to it, is the fact you have run Neo-Spacians, most of which are mediocre.

you don't use them for their effects, you use them for xyz :S
and about the other thing you said; it's like saying tour guide is a way better xyz fodder than the thunder archetype, or lavals have a better synchro engine than lavals- if you play the "less effective" way it's becuase you play it for fun... (sorry if the examples are really stupid, those were the first 2 to cross my mind and Im a bit tired right now)

and I'm not saying you should run all the NS. 3-4 should be enough for making +'s with this card if you want the deck more consistant. also Im not suggesting this as a tier1-2 deck, but Im just saying they are not completley useless as they were before xyz just becuase of this card :\
