First TCG post... aside from that.

The card has alot of haters. I personally like it, in one turn it becomes a spear dragon but w/ 200 more attack. The gain is perminate, and it stops me from taking damage if a drop a diva just to search, not to synchro. discuss.

Were it not once per turn, it would be decent. Maybe with Atlantean Roar and Atlanteans. Or with a couple Bubble Bringer and a pair of Oyster Meisters for a massive boost.

But, then it would seem op, with an otk. Pair that up with mst. Besides, airorca clearse the field, wingtortoise comes back, then you can feed it to moray after attacking.

And 2k after a -1 being a good beater?

Have you read Evolzar Laggia/Dolkka? Have you read Lightpulsar Dragon? Have you read Inzektor Hornet?

I hate to agree with someone who's generally forcing the meta onto someone who clearly doesn't care much about it, but I [i]have [/i]to in this situation. The card is bad based on the fact that the format is basicially solitare. Even [i]if [/i]you do pop a card to it, even [i]if [/i]it can come back, unless you do [i]all of it [/i]in one turn, you're too slow. Even then, Dragonfly -> Hornet will [i]still[/i] rape this. It has no removal protection in a format where removal is everywhere. In an Undermeta enviroment, it's not actually as bad as it seems, considering the boost is permanent.

tldr: It's a bad card unless your opponent isn't playing a Meta deck which most people are because they love netdecking.

It is fine to netdeck as long as you don't do it mindlessly, and also try to improve the deck further while you use it. Most tournament-winning deck ideas didn't first appear on that tournament, they were seen in local places, "copied", but improved, and became successful.

I agree with this entirely, and is the reason I say netdecking shouldn't be discouraged. There is nothing wrong with a player wanting to get better at the game.

It should run rampant, yes.

But as I said, not mindlessly.

Players begin to get better and eventually good by learning with more experienced players. That does include copying their decks. It's not just about the lectures, it is also about the practice, IMO.

If you can get this out then special summon Atlantean armed Soldier who allows you to do additional normal summons if you can normal summon 2 other Armed Soldiers out with it.

This card gains 600 ATK, pop on of their face up cards and have pericing damage.

Still we may need to wait to see how aybss rising turns out for the rest of its water support.

I think it looks cool, even if it's bad. And Atlanteans do have some mild synergy. The problem is that ATK gain isnt good enough. You may as well keep your monster and just use United We Stand instead. That's 1600 extra ATK, plus you still have the second monster that can also do damage.
