Expelsword
Having one server that loads fast, leaving YCM down in some crisis situations (is very much greater than) Having two servers that load slowly, keeping YCM up all the time
Blake
... As in, if he has to put it down for maintenance or if some unforseen event happens, the second server can pick it up so that the site is still live while the first server is down. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
My s*** wireless connection + YCM's faulty life support = Unpleasant failures to post anything.
Simping For Hina
It is a constant inconsistency server problem. It may not or may be fixed, but that is a programming problem. All programs have their issues, and either get fixed or not. YCMaker has done a lot more for this site in the passed month and over an entire year. Don't get caught up with one issue while everyone complains about something wrong with this site.
CAD97
And then slowed down again. It's happening to me too. I think something may be slowing down the server. I've been getting some "server not responding" messages as well, intermitantly.
DARKPLANT RISING
Yeah, same with me. Sucks. We'll have to wait for YCMaker to get back online again.

Flame Dragon
Honestly, the one person that is likely to know is YCMaker. So for the time being you just need to deal with it. I mean at least there are SOME times when it doesn't run a the rate of a snail.
Anti-Apocryphal
I guess then we'll have to wait. Although from what I can see...I don't think we really want to. xD But yes, YCMaker will have to take care of this...I suppose....

Anti-Apocryphal
Also, when one goes down, all we get is 'snapshots,' which are slower than the two servers. There's no winning.

Chaos Dralcax
YCM has been moving slower than a dumb snail lately. Blake
YCM is currently being hosted on 2 servers as YCMaker tries to get it accustomed to both so that it won't crash (or, so he says). We're on both IPBoard and Cloud Flare, so the debilitating speed should be gone [acronym='Within the next year, hopefully.']soon[/acronym]. Hazou
Also I think it's a problem with Cloudfare too. Cloudflare is not a very good server. Another website I'm on had trouble with Cloudflare and it was crashing the site when there were no problems on their end. Cloudfare is just kind of bad. Also I think it's sorta silly to be running on two servers. If a site crashes, it crashes. And people should deal with that.

Question
Anti-Apocryphal
I don't know what's up with YCM's slow speed, but I need to break this question once more.
It doesn't matter which browser I use (Chrome, IE, FireFox), but something's wrong with YCM's connection rate.
It's not extremely slow, but it's still slow enough to really make me mad.
If you were to compare to say, http://forums.wildshadow.com , you'd see YCM is well...horrible.
I don't know what's wrong, so could someone give me a straight-up answer as to why this is the only website that I use that is so slow?
Thanks,
Future Paradise
