It is an Effect monster but apparently in Korea, it's a Fusion monster.

Its not THAT situational.
Its just awkward.
Though, immunity to effect destruction + guaranteed Flame Wingman effect + random Lifepoint Boost is a pretty neat set of effects.

Well, if its text box still looks like it did before New Text format, it wouldn't have specified on it "(from your hand)", so it would still look like a legit card.

Would have been much better if it really were a Fusion Monster with the same textbox except replaced with "(from the Extra Deck)". I'd even like it more if it required a Fusion Card.

It seems like this card was the beginning of a trend of cards that changed from Fusion Monsters to Effect Monsters that are special summoned from the hand.

No, it really is THAT situational.

Which makes it suck beyond belief.

Being a Fusion would have made this funny. Kind of like Rainbow Neos, in that you'd never play it outside a devoted Deck, but it'd be so awesome.

But needing to control a Neos and a Yubel, plus have this in hand makes it way too difficult. Its effects are cool, though, and it does have immunity to effect destruction, which gives it a boost. Except Neos and Yubel are both mediocre, even if you do use Prisma or Hero Mask. The dedication to Summon it, without a reliable search engine for this card greatly hinders the playability.
