1. What time during the day you are most likely online (include time zone)

GMT -5 Hours

From 2:30PM-9:00PM

2. Which parts of the forum you frequent most

I go to all parts of the forum, but I frequently visit the Graphics sections, and the Generals Sections.

3. Why you should become a moderator and how you will help the forum

I think I should become a moderator because I have a long-lasting relationship with the yugioh card maker site, and wish to make it better and better over time. With our current leadership slipping when we need them most, sorry Frunk, we need new moderators to help take the SPAM, Flaming, Trolling, and general noobiness under control. In conclusion, I believe that I would be a good candidate for a new moderator, even if I do not win, I will be happy with the results.

Also, ask Frunk for his input, he has allowed me to moderate 2 of his Forums, and i think i did a good job at at that.

EDIT: *ditto to KA Flame's*

exactly how does that make me look bad?

Because of the posted following. Comprehension should be a mandatory mod quality too.

that doesn't make me look bad at all. unless ou can show me otherwise.

nope. just someone who reports rep spam. not like it's uncommon in this forum.

Sorry' date=' but your exact words were

i went to -rep them
. Unless revenge rep is your way of reporting.

apparently, you don't know what revenge rep is. If you ask, -repping for constant rep spam isn't revenge repping. and i did report them and have their +reps removed.

Since nobody who's already on either side is going to be convinced by this discussion, and nobody who isn't on either side actually cares about this discussion, wouldn't it make sense to end the discussion right here?

1. What time during the day you are most likely online (include time zone)

Um, idk, monday - friday about 10:00 AM Western time,to about 6:00 or 7:00 PM Western. Weekends, probably 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM (Stay up late XD)

2. Which parts of the forum you frequent most

Obviosly Reslistic card section, and a lil it of general, but overall, I am on all the card stuff, cept for written cards, lol

3. Why you should become a moderator and how you will help the forum

Well, it would give me a reson to stay for 1. I also am on enough to know what is going on, and have enough friends here to tell me what is going on even if i'm not here. I also know what needs to be done most of the time. I am also kind of popular now, (yay ^_^), and I think people will listen to me. Idk, seems like a weak reason to be a mod, i'm just putting in a application just to see if I have a shot.

Thanks ^_^

But this is the internet. Agreeing on a subject is not the internet way of life. We agree to nothing, and disagree to everything. You could even have the same opinion as someone, and chances are they'll still disagree with you for the sake of it.

Open your eyes man, I'm trying to help you here. Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean other people don't.

Yes it is, Google it and enjoy enlightenment.

This is called "crying", another unmod-esque quality. You're only allowed to cry if you generate lulz in the process; you don't.

i know I don't have a chance but,

Im on about 4-9 in central time

I usually hang around the General area and Realistic card area

I would help the site by just getting rid of clutter, spamming, closing offending threads, most of all, I'm not the one who demands respect but I've been called dumb 19 different times today on this site and all I can do is neg or report them, that's not working. I also have know how a mod is going to act and, im not mudslinging here but some applicants don't really get the full picture of this.

But if you ask me, We instead of a few people deciding, should hold a moderator Elections. PM me if you are interested

and what does grammer have to do with being a mod saying "locked" is a grammer isssue duh

The fact that you so heavily desire the position of Moderator guarantees you won't get it.

;)

This will be my page 4 post.

Oh right. YCMaker' date=' I'll be a mod, but only if you don't have many other options. PM me if you need to, but I do have a site to run and I only come here to get and give lulz.

To everyone: Your opinions don't matter here, only YCMaker's. Just post your applications and leave. Any further posts that are not an application will be counted as spam. You guys are doing a great job at showing what good mods you can be -.-

On the contrary.

If YCMaker is truly a good Admin, he will listen to our opinions.

+ altemon, he has good grammar and a head on his shoulders.

+ HORUS, he's intelligent and has a good sense of grammar.

+++ The Slime Lord, he's friendly with a presence that can be intimidating at the right time. Most definitely is fit for the job.

- anomu13, he has a temper.

- God GAK, he has an ego and wants it too much. Also, his grammar skills are lacking.

1. What time during the day you are most likely online (include time zone)

Time Zone is GMT+12, I am usually on between 4pm and 9pm weekdays, most of the day on weekends, up to about 11pm, and often on for half an hour or so in the mornings on weekdays, but I would be happy to reschedule the time I get up, so I can spend more time on here in the mornings.

2. Which parts of the forum you frequent most

Usually fan fiction, General and Introductions, Questions, Comments and Suggestions, and also Card Contests.

3. Why you should become a moderator and how you will help the forum

People on here know me and generally like me, and the only reason I do not have a very high post count is because I only post if I have important input. I am not one to answer every thread in hopes of raising my post count.

I have been on YCM for almost five months now, and have always been a regular. I have not "left" and then "magically returned" like some other members.

I only have one negative reputation point, which should be removed, but I don't really mind whether it is or not.

I will not be one to abuse moderator power if I am given it.

I frown upon bad grammar and spelling, and do not use an overuse of smilies...

I can take a joke, and I am very mature for my age.

I hope that this information will give me a good chance of becoming a moderator. Thank you in advance for your opinion.

EDIT: I just realized that the statement "I frown upon bad grammar" came out kind of wrong. What I meant is that I do not use bad grammar. I have no problem with others using it, it just makes it harder to understand them.

By the way, thanks Darkthorne for the reference!

I'm not really sure if I should fill out an application, I mean, what would be my advantage. Ich murschte nicht bin Moderator or Ich murschte bin Moderator very difficult question, have the ability to lock threads and move threads to the correct section, and when I become more experienced and well responsible I could be allowed to ban people who break the rules...I'm not sure if I want that kind of power...Is there something I'm missing here?

1. What time during the day you are most likely online (include time zone):

During monday-friday: 5-9 PM with some breaks to do homework and other stuff

During Weekends: Meh, i do not have a specific time, but not more than 1-2 hours except if i am alone at home

Timezone:I think that Greece is in GMT +2 Which means that by the time this message will be posted it will be 5:45 AM

2. Which parts of the forum you frequent most

I go the the graphics section once in a while to check my shop and if i see something i click on it. I keep browsing through:Card Contests 2-4 times a day, Realistic Cards i can search all 1st page topics and rate them if i want and showcase too. However, that is a section that in my opinion doesn't need to have a certain mod cause i think that it has less spam than every other forum. Finally, i sometimes visit questions comments and suggestions to see what's new but that section is already moderated by the super moderators. the Other and Yugioh Card Maker sections are the super moderators' special sections.

So i guess i could join 1 or 2 of the following forums:

-Custom Cards-Realistic Cards,Finished Cards/Sets,Any Other Cards and Card Contests

-Graphic Design Showcase

-Graphic Design Shops/Requests

3. Why you should become a moderator and how you will help the forum:

Here's the long part. I have been on the forum for approximately 8 months, and i have to say that i know most members with more than 500 posts or so. I have been told by many other members of YCM that i have very very good grammar for my age and nationality, Greek, and that i could be a mod too. I can give you a reference if you want (if i ever find it in my 2872 pm's and that bunch of threads XD). I used to be a very active member, and i was once voted as a rising star. I always wanted to become a mod. I adored members such as Tkill93, God Kaze, Star/Invert Remix/GBT whatever and the rest. Frunk was my #1. He could start a debate and never let it end. I do not say that i am a good debater but i can make somebody stop saying bad things for somebody or prevent him from spamming in means, other than neg repping or reporting.

Other notes:

That may be out of topic but i will say it. I also have a shop, the well-known Rainbow Ruin. It gets lots of orders every day and most people complain about when they get them. It would be very useful to me to be able to lock it and unlock it when i want, so that i do not get overloaded. With that note, i want to say, again, that the most wanted sections by me are:

-Realistic Cards

-Card Contests

-Shops/Requests

That was all. This was the longest post i have ever made. The last thing i can say is good luck to all and thank you again YCMaker for giving us, the YCM community, an opportunity to become Moderators.

>This post was written in 5:45 AM (GMT +2, Greece Time)<

And thank you for taking your time reading this post which along with all the other 76 replies might change the whole YCM future history.

EDIT:

I found a reference. It is a pm that kid just sent me:

I'm not even sure if your insulting me or helping me here, either way, I would like an actual mod to answer my question, not a regular member...

I ask again with more clarity...What else can a Mod do beside ban lock and move, I would like more information before I consider applying...

I'm neither insulting you nor helping you; I'm making a political comment that relates to your statement.

I believe moderators can also sticky topics, edit posts, and delete posts.
