The thing with that quote it, it is only one sided apparently. It only speaks of male homosexuality, from how I interpret it. Female homosexuality is okay, and that is still a homosexual life style. And they are not living directly from the bible, it is a loose interpretation. Just because it was looked at as false back then, times change and so do people. The church is becoming more open, not just living by the bible. The bible was suppose to be looked as a way to live your life. Things in the bible aren't acceptable nowadays too, like stoning a woman for adultery. You cannot live by the bible exactly as they did, either. You seem to think that it is specifically how Christians look at it. A Cardinal, you just gave me the perfect example. He gave his own belief, trying to get people to live purely in the eye of God. And people are actually believing about it, even if you are an Atheist. Making fun of something and insulting it have the same ideas behind them too. Which then, you are stupid for thinking that all religions are the same, you are a plague with the idea that they all have the same affect. Muslims actually believed in a peaceful life style, that belief was tainted by people who wanted to seek out revenge, not the religion itself. People interpret religion in there own way, no matter how they learned it. There are no ways to live correctly with religion, just to obey the laws that it has given is a start. And you interpreted that part wrongly. You are giving information, not dictating it. That is what I am saying, try to look at things less loosely for once? By attacking a person's beliefs, you are also attack what that person stands for, the way he lives and sometimes the way he thinks. In the end, you are attacking the person. I do not attack the person's reasons for his belief and I do not attack him because he believes in his religion but I will attack the religion. If the person's beliefs do not adhere to scientifical laws and cannot be proven by evidence and can be proved wrong they are wrong. And I feel it is necessary to tell the person they are wrong and why. You have spouted generally the same thing over and over and over again. "Don't be so mean to religion", religion has been for many years been mean to us. We still can barely get Gay Marriage legislation passed why? Because of Christianity. Had religion never existed and we all looked towards science from the beginning, none of these things would be a problem now. Religion is flawed and has always been flawed but it isn't until now that people are starting to see how foolish the belief itself really is. Religion needs to die in order for humanity to progress. Yes, cardinals have one belief they are telling to people but unfortunately these cardinals hold high positions of religious power and so people (Roman Catholics) generally believe it out of fear of going to hell which has been the Catholic Church's main recruitment motto for years. There are senators in congress who believe that some reatard ate from a magic tree and screwed her boyfriend and her and that some random jew out of nowhere can perfomr miracles because he claims he is the son of God. I do tend to say stuff online to other people that I wouldn't say in real life, but that doesn't happen often. So no, I wasn't implying that that was his true personality.
