Marshmallon is somewhat better, depending on which format you're playing.

....what resemblance do u see with this card and marshmallon other than the fact that they're monsters.

ANyways, konami might make a alternative version (like they did with Plaguespreader and Fishborg). Although if they did it would probably suck unless in a specific deck.

I guess you could use Spore to stall for a single attack... if you're bad at the game.

I don't want this to come back, and I have been playing plants recently. Any card that can be a free, abuseable summon is just stupid.

I wasn't bringing Marshmallon up because of what it had in common with Spore, I was bringing it up because both of them are really weak and really useful, regardless of how different they were,

That's like saying you can compare REDMD to Evolzar Laggia.
It's not as free. Banishing a monster to summon it takes away a key element. For example, if you're banishing Dandylion, that's a HUGE cost. Lonefire as well, though not as great. The point is is that it is MUCH more costly to use this than anything else.
REDMD is like Evolzar Laggia. No one seems to like them.

I used to hate plants, now I miss them so much. It wouldn't hurt if it come back, it's a good designed card and wouldn't hurt meta that badly.

Ok, but seriously, the card was purely plot-device in the episode it appeared in(Seriously, it was played through Bird of Roses) and ended up being amazing.

It is true that it's not as free. That's definitely not disputable. However, not only do you lack faith in the power of the Plants, but you also don't give credit to their biodiversity! If you need a Level 3 so badly, there's a card known as Naturia Marron that freely dumps itself when it's Summoned, and could be potentially used for recycling the effects of other Naturias you might use with your deck, such as Cliff -- there's also Inmato, which can be Summoned with Cherry Inmato or freely dumped. Then, if you're siding into a good match, there's also Puppet Plant.

The fallen comrades of the Plants feed them, giving them strength, and brings to life even more possibilities! They can overcome all odds, but Spore is nothing but a crutch to their evolution! [/beingananime]

You don't get it, right? Plants with 1 Lonefire, 1 Dandylion, no spore and no Glow up are DEAD. Naturias =/= Plants. They gamestyle is different.

Well, for one, I was just doing an anime monologue... Also, who says you can't use a PLANT Naturia in a deck centered around PLANTS? For that matter, who says this has to be used in a very specific niche to begin with, and ONLY with those cards?

Oh come on, they're both Dragons.

Anyway, I think it should come back, I'm unsure as to why it was banned in the first place, it requires setup and dedication unlike Bulb.

Plants was only 4 Plants anyway. 5 in previous banlists, but there were still only 4 different plants.

Solid Plants are nothing remotely similar or remotely as good.
And yet they were still easier to play against than Dino Rabbit.
