is it just me, or does this not get played very often than i like to think it does? i always run at least 1 of these. in fact, it's my favorite card. (don't judge)

OT: most decks don't need the mini-avarice effect badly enough to make this over other r4s, and most deck can't/don't use the summon effect. He's good in gem knights though if you don't need chain at the time.

i don't play gem-knights, so i don't have a good idea of how well this works with them (i mean consistent-wise).
but most of the time, i use this to return my tour guides and rabbits. (when rabbits somehow get into the grave, anyway)

It's good, but situational at best. It rarely gets summoned because of its lackluster stats and because a lot of people, at least from what I've seen, don't care enough about the draw to leave this thing on the field whilst other, better Rank 4s sit in the Extra.

There are just better targets in most cases. This would be better off in a slower format.

of course! not every deck needs this, or can even find room for it because there are stuff that are better. and like you said, it's situational... but the only situation i can imagine this in is getting all your tour guides back into your decks and hopefully top-decking a heavy storm or dark hole (something staple). or just getting something like meteor b. dragon and ramming your opponent for game. you know what i mean

This card is more splashable than Avarice, but it doesn't do a whole lot of good unless you have non-Effect monsters to recycle, like in Oni Rabbit OTK.

It's a great mini-Avarice and Vanilla Summoner, but due to most decks that can get out Rank 4s, Emeral is rarely used, and its stats are quite weird. Also pretty much an Offering Gadget booster.

Pearl is always one of my number 1 Rank 4 choices, so I use this most of the times as a pseudo Monster Reborn for him.

I'm sure it's not actually a Normal monster, only a non-effect monster. Seems pretty cool in Bubblebeat with Alius.

Still, this thing's lulzy with Geminis.

Main use for it is Alius, and I guess you could use it for Gem Knights too.

It's win-moar in Gem-Knights. Only time it isn't is if you summoned a Zirconia earlier in the duel.

That said, I do like the card a lot.

I don't have much experience with Gemeni rulings but, wouldn't Neos Allius's "treated as Normal Monster while in the Graveyard" effect still not count as "non-Effect"?

The cards seems pretty good to me. Of course it's not gonna have a chance in such a format, but from a slower and casual point of view, it look awesome.
