It's slow as heck, but it's also a potent effect. Only bad part is it loses out to Bottomless. However, you can Torrent it yourself for a full field wipe. Hand of Nephthys also isn't all that hard to get, especially with Apprentice Magician floating around.

Thoughts?

Hand of Neph is also ridiculously searchable, so its not like this card isn't playable or anything.
Just wish it's ATK were a little higher.

I wanted to make a deck that abuses this alongside RDA...

Actually, in terms of Synchro-Dragon abuse, its ideal partner is Scrap Dragon.

Ah, way too costly to play it that way. Special summon Armor Ninja Earth, set Ninjitsu Art of Transformation and chain it to an mst, heavy or something similar. Way easier.

A cool card, but it is unfortunately outshined by many other cards.

Though I had my share of laughs when I exchanged this to my opponent, he tribute summoned it and I activated Torrential Tribute.

Trade-in an call are @ 3...

Brb, making nephtys turbo. Is hand any good?

Also, I just noticed it's NEF-thees, not ne-FI-tis after 5 or so years ._.

I always called it Nehptys, myself.

But yeah, Hand is pretty useful, especially in the current game where we have a lot of cards that Special Summon themselves. It might seem a bit costly, but considering how searchable Hand is, it's not all that hard to pull off.

Would also be super quick to pull out with Hand turn 2. GENIUS.
[/quote]Plus if you had to leave a set card out there for no reason, Nephthys would get rid of it and POOF, you get Treeborn as well.

Wait, this gets around Warning too, doesn't it?

Not sure if it gets around Warning. However, its ruling does say that it will still trigger its effect if destroyed in the hand or deck, so I think it would actually Special Summon itself next Standby if killed by Warning. However, if it was killed when it tried to come back with its effect, I am not sure what would happen.

Because if they Warning your Hand of Nepth's effect, your at a -2 disadvantage.

when i was typing it (in answer to a question) i was thinking of it as if Hand wasn't present if you know what i mean. However i wouldn't see anyone use this without Hand anyway

Okay, this was one of the cards that I just thought "OMG WTF YUGIOZ DIS IS SO LAME RITE GUISE?" but right now...wow. I actually made Neph Turbo.dek yesterday, and I always end the duel with a Gimmick Puppet Xyz, for some reason.

I would be interested in seeing what that looks like.
