Pokémon can combat power creep with rotations. Besides, that Crobat is by far nowhere near the most broken thing in the format anyway.

I know how to play Pokemon TCG, but have no idea of what the most broken things are.
So just out of curiousity, can you post that? =0


The card above seemed broken enough to me. I can just imagine what the others are...

I don't personally play, but I do follow.

Main evil of the format. A couple of others, but they're not really evil. New Altaria and new Bouffalant. As well as maybe the new Gabite.

But you gotta' admit, 40 Damage from Poison + walking draw engine is pretty cool.

It might be unintended by the OP, but sounds good to me.

-Does Vanguard have Power Creep already? I thought one of it's strong points was that everything was pretty much balanced.

So, it's a basic pokemon. With 180 HP. That can attack for 90 and do 30 more to a benched pokemon.

The Dragon Type Altaria doesn't seem that powerful...unless it is only a support card...for which is good I figure But what is the attacker for that? Dragon Blade Garchomp?.

Gabite is kinda Ugh...If he survives 2 turns minimum he can set up Altaria + Garchomp for 120 with 2 Energies...ugly

OT: MTG Power Creep works in a wierd way....Currently they are making Creatures better than Spells where at the beggining of the Game Spells were quite Powerfull while Creatures where Good at best...

Plus with the new Rotation coming up a new power Level is about to come...Innistrad Block was kinda less powerfull all in all compared with Mirrodin/Phyrexia...that came from the Broken Zendikar...But on the other hand now we are going to Ravnica again so we'll have to wait and see...

If you set up an Altaria with a Garchomp (which you should be able to do around turn 3-4 if you're good with decklists), you basically win (especially when the other half of decks in the format are EX-based and you win in half the time).

Ugly, but super-consistent.
