The Relevance of Tele-DaD in the Upcoming Format

I saw it online originally, and then we started having a lot of discussion about it around Locals and such, but from what I've gathered, a lot of people are predicting that Tele-DaD (or some variant, as the Deck itself isn't really "Tele-DaD" without Dark Armed Dragon at a number other than 1, but for argument's sake) will make a comeback and be a relatively big player in the September 2012 format.

Already, as I keep up-to-date with the prices of cards regularly, I've seen a significant jump in price of "Emergency Teleport" from $8-10 to $17-22 in a matter of days, and Destiny Draw, Destiny Hero - Malicious (higher rarities), as well as Dark Grepher have seen an increase in price as well.

I've tried throwing a list or something together to get an idea of what it would be like but I wasn't really a Tele-DaD player in its prime so I don't know too much about it at all. Does anyone think we could be up against a re-hash of one of the most well-known, dominant Decks of its time? Or is it just hype for Teleport coming back to 3?

In addition, has anyone built and/or played a variant of the Deck using the new list? If so, perhaps you could enlighten me on what makes it work so fluidly.

The hype is just due to Teleport and D-Draw

Both of those are nice, but the deck doesn't have enough of the -really- important things it had back in the day, namely 3 Mali and 2 Allure. Some would argue (but I wouldn't, especially given how much of a fangirl I am towards the deck) that even the deck in its prime wouldn't succeed as much in this day and age.

I mean I'm sure someone would be able to break the basic concept of the deck wide open in the future if they really tried, but I -highly- doubt it'd work the same at all.

As Agro said, TefnuitDAD is cool and fun to play, but it loses advantage way too fast and has bad matchups against Agents and DWs. Stardust and Bounzer are cool cards but aren't nearly as good in this meta as they were in the last one, and, generally speaking, aren't each worth a -1.

I don't think the price will rise much with it @3 either. I've seen Ultra copies on ebay gone from £8-£10 (Ultis about £12) about $10-$15. I could possibly see it going for about £10-£12 for the Ultras $15-$20 (and about £15 for the Ultis about $23)

Its price rose by as much as I predicted (even a bit more)
