Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
He called an admin because the turn before I had ditched a Starlight Road in my hand for Upstart Golden Ninja, and that turn he activated Mirror Force, which was, lo and behold, was chained with Starlight Road. Apparently he thought I had grabbed the one from my grave, or that it was limited. Ha. Another time a guy MST'd my Starlight Road with 3 set cards, then used Heavy, only to have it negated by my second Starlight. I've been having fun running this in doubles. Everyone only expects one. Not-so-Radiant Arin
If you're running, I'd say at least 18 of more combined Spells and Traps, this card is definitely a necessity, and in twos. Three tends to clog and you never know when an MST can hit your only one. Mind games are fun.

Agro
In that case, you could also argue why you would even need to run 1 SR.
I don't. At least, not in that Deck. If you're playing a heavy S/T lineup, people will think "what's the most effective way to take out their backrow? Heavy Storm!". Dumb players will play their Heavy Storm just like that, but smart people will actually hold on to their Heavys for such things like 1-for-1 removal, even. And SLR doesn't technically have to be for defending against Heavy Storm. I made the painful mistake of not SLR'ing a BRD when the opportunity arose. You never want to run just one SLR because chances are, it will get MST'd/Solemn'd.
Agro
Well of course you can want to run 1 SR. The fear of MST or solemn is relevant whether you run 2 or one. It certainly isn't a necessity.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I have used it at doubles in decks that run 16+ traps, and it works out fine. The main point for using 2 is to more likely draw 1 first turn, and since I also run Upstart Golden Ninja, even if I draw into them dead I can ditch them for a summon. In Worms it's a different case, but they use about 18 traps.
Sleepy
There are plenty mass removal cards to use this at 2, and it's clever for it to be used at 2 because of the risky MSTs that are everywhere. It works well enough from personal experience.
Synchronized
Gadgets. Since the Deck relies so heavily on backrow, you want to protect it as best as possible. I've opened with TKRO, Solemn Judgment, Fiendish Chain, Starlight Road, and Bottomless Trap Hole and proceeded to win the game.
Airride
It's good in decks that need to protect their S/T and don't have restrictions on what monsters they can use, like Block Golem or Soliditary. If that's the case, Revo is better. This is usually the best choice though.

Sleepy
What was the name of that Counter Trap version of Starlight Road that didn't Special Summon anything? I recall the opinion about both was kinda split because Starlight is a target for negation by Warning. How relevant is it?
I'm sensing a lot of sarcasm here, but that card that you are referencing is The Huge Revolution is Over. What's funny about that is; people didn't start running The Huge Revolution is Over in ANY meta until Starlight Road came out. And people are still running SLR over Revo. But you are also right about the fact that SLR can be Solemn'd. Both have their pros and cons, I suppose. EDIT: 'd
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Starlight Road is a +1 card, so it's really the go-to. You can argue that Huge Revolution is Over is better because it banishes the card, or it's not stoppable by Warning, but even if they do stop it they still had to use up 2 cards and 2000 Life Points. newhat
A YCS winner once said that in a Skill Drain Deck, Starlight Road is a win condition. I wouldn't go that far. But this is one of the Master-class Traps with a huge payoff for what should cripple you.

ihop
I play the one in HERO beat and it's all I really need as a lot of stuff is chainable and I can win with monsters alone.
