ITT: Monster Reborn is Quick-play

Recommended Posts

Think about Call of the Haunted that can be used on the turn you draw it, can be chained to full effect, doesn't make the monster dependent on it, doesn't stick around to mess up your Gorz and gets monsters from your opponent's grave. Not happening.

ITT: Monster Reborn cannot be used on the turn you draw it.
And this is a terrible idea however you look at it.

Quick play spells can be used on the turn you draw them?

I'm saying Reborn as a quick play can be used on the turn you draw it, he's saying you can't.
[/quote]No, he's being sarcastic and you're not realizing it, apparently.

"ITT:" means that the other people in the topic are saying that, referring to you.

In any case, you should reread your last post then, because you questioned in the affirmative, where you should have used the negative.

The idea of a Quick-Play Monster Reborn as is, is ridiculous.
It would need an appropiate cost/condition/aftereffect to go with it and balance it out, or I don't think it'll make anything but this unanimous discussion.
Though in that case, we might as well talk about another card.

If I wanted a Quick-Play replacement for Monster Reborn... let's see.

Quick-Play Spell Card
Discard 1 card to target 1 monster from either Graveyard; Special Summon it in Attack Position and halve it's ATK OR Special Summon it in Defense Position. Also, it's effect is negated/cannot activate this turn.

...or something like that.
