If you Special Summon this card in this way, this card gets the following effect: During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points." They aren't good, and neither are their counterparts. However, to my knowledge, they are the only monsters to summon themselves directly from the deck. If there are others, please tell me! Heck ever the Buster modes have it easier as they have a assault teleport plus have extra effects. While REBMD and Metalzoa are just beatsticks in which there are cards that have same ATK that are not dead draws, and can do more then just be a beatstick. .-. Anyways OT: The possessed would have been interesting if they actually gain an effect[based on their Attribute] and not piercing when summoned using the charmers. Filler sometimes = awesome art to attract collectors. Techniques... They could have been more interesting. They were made to be situational. The first 4 came out when the attributes were weak. Dharc came out after DARK Decks got hit. The LIGHT one came out when Lightsworns were killed by the list. They deliveratedly missed their chance to shine. by the time they are compleleting it, the speed is such, that they are more irrelevant than ever. Even with Dharc's extra Familiar effect.
