Fran is absolutely amazing, if you get him to the field.
4500 runs over practically everything, and being a weird Veiler lets you chain him to things like Reborn n' junk, just to give the Opponent some pressure.

Aside from DWs, shame that Rank 8 Hieratics are terrible >__>

Oh yeah.

OT: Mediocre card in regard to its stats. The DEF could at least be 1500, but its negate eff is still solid and nice to use. Very versatile in Darklords as it seems.

No, it's not, because you're using 5800-6000 ATK to produce 4500 ATK. This card kills MCED and Quasar, but that much ATK and that little DEF make its uses extremely narrow.

It's decent as a beastick, but Heliopolis is usually better at getting rid of threats (unless they can negate effects or aren't destroyed by card effects, like Quasar, Nova, etc).

Fran can save himself from random Torrentials and/or Bottomless.

Fran is not only a quick effect, but he can also target any face-up [i]card.[/i]
This includes things Mirror Force, and Fran can chain to it during it's activation, while its still face-up, to render it useless.

Not to mention that if he hadn't been summoned, attacked or switched his mode before that turn he can switch back to attack and punch very hard.

He's pretty versitle. And I only just noticed he can out muscle Quasar... i feel like an idiot.
