What Roach really needs is a monster with like 2400 ATK so that it isn't easily run over. Either that, or a self-protection clause by Detaching a material. While I'd say Roach is good vs Dragons, this is good (sort of) vs 6 Sams and Wind-Ups. But since Gandiva isn't generic, it looks like only Heroes can use it well. SS Photon Thrasher -> NS HC extra sword -> SS this @3100 due to Extra sword's effect makes the opponent think before they do a big play, and it slows them down if they don't have a way to get him off the field.
