[/quote] Tuningware does have the benefit of being a low-level, low ATK target, and being used more than once in a turn without extreme dedication, but Aster certainly does its job, and does it well. [/quote] No. They are, at the core, -1s. If they get killed off by an S/T before they hit the field, they are still a -1. If they get worked around, they are a -1.
