Gallis CAN FTK, but from what I know, the FTK is mostly, if not completely, abandoned in favor of consistent plays. Gallis is good for other decks to, especially if you play it in lightsworn. Thinning out the deck is good, even if it's eff doesnt work because you milled a spell/trap. It mills your deck by 1, burns, gives you a free monster for Synchro/Xyz/Tribute summon, adds monsters to the grave to get Sephylon out faster, and sets up the Graveyard for cards like Debris Dragon and BLS. All of this made possible simply by revealing it in your hand. For these reasons, nearly any deck can have a Gallis variant, including Chaos Dragons. .
