Legend Zero
Hard Obelisk is still a good deck. =] That "article" gives me so many questions.
Toffee.
The Marshmallon clause doesn't even target things to begin with. ....Why does this guy not know that Dark Hole and 2x Torrential are so commonly seen? (Yes, I know you cant play Torrential to Obelisk's summon, but that's the point) As for the card itself, its a pretty strong to run over if your unprepared. Sleepy
Technically you can still use Torrential against Obelisk as long as Obelisk is not what's being Summoned xD Obelisk, Slifer, hang on. The day something that used to be as awesome as you 10 years ago, gets to be called trash, I'll know how much the game has come to suck. The Konami troops have already stepped over the Blue Eyes defenses, you two must not perish.
Sora1499
I find it ironic that Ra is put up to be a sort of divine all-father in the show, but in gameplay he friggen sucks! OT: I was playing against frogs and the guy proceeded to drop this bastard. He won 3 turns later. It's easily the best God card, yet all 3 of the Gods are worthless outside of their own respective dedicated builds because they're so hard to summon, and if they die you're left wide open for a counterattack. [/quote] But a single Obelisk is an amazing tech in Frogs and requires 0 dedication beyond that. It's not worthless at all, and it's supposed to be cool in sealed pack play. Sora1499
@Reborn What I'm saying is that they're most certainly not staples, and they're not a very viable option for the vast majority of decks. Some builds can make good use of em, but 99% can't.
ihop
I remember my opponent summoning Hard Obelisk against me in a Battle Pack event but he then attacked into my DD Assailant. lol
