This isn't realy fair to people with old decks because your facing opponents with monsters that have (as I said) high ATK but also have abilities that usually an averaged powered monster would have. Now I have a deck containing these monsters but that's only because I know I would be a tough opponent. I'm [i]5[/i]0[i]/5[/i]0 on this topic[/size]. Sleepy Posted November 27, 2012 Report Share Posted November 27, 2012 As a fan, I'm bothered at how the most random players can even out and outclass an Egyptian God's ATK. Thogh as a player, I understand the need for power creep. What really is there to do? It's not like Konami is not trying to avoid power creep as much as possible already. We all know that if they went rampart with it, the game would live much less, not to mention fans would leave the game more easily if the pase was too stupid. Also, Life Points are not a changable part of the game, so there is a limit to how much they can creep before the game is put in need to have either: -A mechanic that increases life. -Flat out higher starting Life Points. To be honest, I thought they'd be forced to recurr to the above long ago. I am impressed to some degree. Then again, I've never seen a TCG that's been forced to change their Life values. That's like a game of Basketball where every team member is afraid to go to the other side because it'll leave their hoop unguarded. Face it, a game of defense isn't exactly an exciting one. You're essentially sitting around waiting for your OTK pieces, which is bad design and not very fun to play with nor against.
