What was your favorite format?

Synchrocentric was the most fun, in my opinion. Although at the time, I disliked that format because the cards necessary to build the Deck were extremely expensive meaning I couldn't actually build it. I'd be extremely content with either Lonefire Blossom or Glow-Up Bulb moving down one spot on the list (Bulb to 1, or Lonefire Blossom to 2) so I could try and re-build it.

<Lonefire gets put back to 2.
<More Generic Deck Thinning
<Your field always ends up Gigaplant + Tytannial

Given that I don't know many formats, or the names of any, I would say the last format I played in before I stopped playing for a while.

It was the format straight after the limiting of Trunade and Overload Fusion, where the Chimeratech Overdragon OTK with Cyber Stien was still a thing.

But then again, I did come back in the middle of Inzector format, so its not much of a comparison.

Explains a lot.

Rabbit dominated the format eventually. It had a good Plant matchup but a bad Agent matchup, so Agents and Rabbit decks started showing up everywhere after PHSW.

It made the Plant mirror increasingly less common.

Plant Synchro vs Plant Synchro is probably one of the most fun matchups ever though, hence the love for Sept 11 pre PHSW.

Actually, I'm going to say this

EVERY SINGLE DAMN XYZ FORMAT HAS SUCKED.

You're a tool.

I like the formats RIGHT after the format I started playing again. What format did I start playing again in? Well let me tell you a little something about March of 2010:

Imagine a format where Black Whirlwind was Semi'd, Kalut was @3, Brain Control was Limited, Danylion was Semi'd, Lonefire was semi'd, Debris was @3, Goyo was @1, Heavy was limited, Honest was @2, Infernity Launcher was AT THREE, MST was @1, Avarice was @3, Rescue Cat was @1, Reoyal Oppression was @2, Royal Tribute was @3, Substitoad was @1, and Trishula was unlimited.

Oh, and this was all when Reborn and Dark Hole were both banned.

Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Triple Launcher Infernities, Plants (er, Dandywarrior) with 2 Dandy, 2 Lonefire, and 3 Debris (thankfully only 1 Black Rose), Blackwings with 2 Whirlwind and 3 Kalut, Lightsworn with 2 Honest, Flamvells and X-Sabers with Rescue Cat, Gravekeepers with 3 Royal Tribute, and Frog OTK.

All while having unlimited Trish (okay, that was only the OCG at that point...), Heavy Storm, Giant Trunade, Cold Wave, Avarice @3, Goyo, and 2 Royal Oppression to make sure you couldn't come back (plus you only had a single MST to fight with)

SOUND LIKE A FUN FORMAT? Honestly, it may have been worse than this one.

September 2011 and Tele-DAD were my two favorites

Well, you do have a weird concept of fun, don't you?

I find any format that has a Tier 0 deck to be not enjoyable and unhealthy for the game, regardless of how fun the mirror matches were.

I actually didn't like Tele-DAD because of the deck itself or the mirror match of said deck

I liked it because of the crazy, nonsensical bullshit I could do

Well, with that criterion I liked Airblade Turbo the best. That was a serioulsy messed up deck.

Best for me was when Librarian was at 3
That format wasn't that good. I mean, it was all just draw, draw, draw, Trish.

And then it had Unlimited Gateway Sams at the end of it.
