Exactly. If you know I'm good, then unless you're an evil, there's really no point in bumping me off yet because that'd be another day phase wasted.

Typing this from my brother's house.>.>
Well, if most of you want to finish it in style, I'm going to re-open the thread tomorrow.
Yes the rounds are short, but I can't pay attention to every effing person's timezone. Sorry about that. There's little to say during the last rounds as well since most alignments are clear.

Going off socializing with people and dancing to Gangnam Style on the streets.
Have a happy new year and stay safe!^^
I will announce the winners of the awards too tomorrow.

The coin landed on Jack Skellington.
You are Jack Skellington.

Good side

As the Pumpkin King, you’re living in Halloween Town. However, after you grew bored of celebrating the same thing every year, you came to the YCM building because you had heard about the Christmas feast. Here, you’re in charge of entertaining the guests, like doing magic tricks in the evenings.

Your ability consists of questioning dead players. Twice per game, you can ask a question to a dead player that can be answered with ’’yes’’ or ’’no’’. In addition to that, you’re immune to the voting if the players choose to go through the dining room with the fireplace. You can however be targeted by an ability that makes you lose the game while you’re in there.

Also, dropping Aya for good.
You are Aya Shameimaru from the Touhou Anime.

Good side

The tengu reporter who is always looking for the next scoop. All the interviewees so far have praised you for your honesty and politeness. Since much of your material is based on rumors, you have to type like you’re always making wild guesses in the game.

Your ability is investigation. Twice per game, you can pick one of the following options: the ability to see what a victim was attacked with or a list of players who may be potential culprits. You can pick the same option twice or change it up.
Also, what DaWeirdGuy said. Only put your actual vote into bold, I only look out or those when tallying anyway.
And if you're out, you can only observe the game. Don't help either side, don't repeat or rephrase something that happened before and may push a side.

The thread will be opened again in about 6 hours or so.
In the meantime, ANECDOTES!
So some of you seem mad about what you got.
Well, do you what kind of stuff they gave me in the last games?

Niel
GOOD
People love your voice, but your lips are a bit of a distraction. Since this brings you a center of attention, the evils' votes are not counted towards you during one day phase, manipulating the vote count.

Yeah, cool. It took me a while to figure out whether it was a boy or a girl and when I found out, I was already out. Also, no one voted for me during the day, so yeah.

Grim Reaper- Neutral
You are a mysterious being. You don't talk much, but is deadly. You have the ability to steal items from players 3 times. Just let me know here which player's item you have to steal.

Absolutely no win possibility, unless I stay alive and am the last one standing. And I can't talk much. Ok?
Oh and I could pick random players and IF they had an item, I could steal it (which is good). But 2 times out of 3, I got nothing. Not the kinds of abilities some people had here either.

Also, their phases lasted for 20-30 minutes max. and most people lived in US timezones. So I didn't get to say sh*t.
But guess what? I sucked it up and somehow managed to make it into the 5 last rounds with both.:'D

Just saying that even if you happen to live in the "wrong" part of the world or your character is a...zero-win-possibility thing that rarely speaks or a Lady Gaga boy, you can go quite far.
2 hour rounds now because there's little to say and if you haven't figured out some of the evils now, you will never get it.
You can however still try to go for one of the awards like best player and such!

The evils go for the last bit of the road and decide to get Kevin the cook.
You are Kevin, the popular young cook at the cafeteria.

Good side/part of the second alliance

You’re known for quite friendly to those you trust, but also for being a bit of an ice king sometimes. You’re especially cold to those you suspect of being culprits.

Your ability consists of putting some veritaserum into another player’s meal. Once per game, you can pick and investigate any player. [stolen] Since you’re quite popular among people, when you’re targeted by the votes or an ability that removes you from the game, the fan hordes get mad and lynch the last player who submitted a vote against you during the Day. This ability doesn’t work at Night.
6 hours for the Day Phase (which should be the last one).
Now you can go and make dramatic/convincing/funny/cracked-up/worth-the-read speeches about why your character was out to crash the party or what it meant to celebrate the end-of-the-year festivities with the site. Or idk what...

Well, the show is over and those rascals have won. I had a hunch the GM was the convert, cause what lover in their right mind wouldn't want their lover to be on their side. I'm surprised everyone was so stupid with that. Oh well, I guess I can have a little fun nagging those rascals before I rest in peace for good.[/dead]

Well done Remo, you were indeed correct. It was a fun game. I guess all that's left is for the Big Good - Mr. Wham - to come out and die.
As for my reasons; meh, I was bought. Ye'see, I was initially a neutral player in this here game; I wasn't initially one of the bad-uns. But I was after a ranch for myself; down in Texas (or, at least, Lee Scoresby did/does). So they went and offered me money, and Cinnamon made a small mistake with the Evil's PM, and I was a baddie, after heads and such. I was quite humoured by the fact that people believed I was the Big bad; in fact, I was nothing; possibly the weakest ability-wise of all the Evils.

At any rate, it was a good game, and fair play to all those dead. Seems a few people have been inspired to do their own from this one, and I cant wait. So, nice playing with you all, and possibly I'll see you again for a rematch some time?

You all probably guessed I'm evil at this point. Also, Striker, I was the psycho you were looking for, which is the reason we permanently got rid of you. If you had gotten me, I already knew the evils so I could have just revealed their identities as soon as it happened and the goods would have won. So anyway, Wham.

"Pfft. Well it's been fun, those evil rascals deserve the win for being so tactical. With 5 evils to the 1 big good remaining, definately fair play to the evils. I can't wait to see who wins these "awards" that I may or may not have heard about.

I came to here to lighten everyone's moods with a little light entertainment but this whole incident had stopped any chances of that happening, and now that I'm dead, I left my magic kit as unnecessary litter."[/dead]

OoC: I was definately inspired to do one of these most definately. I have the prologue written and everything. It'll be a while before it's posted though. Then again it'll not be related to this at all.

Er, whut? Me, Neph and Loki were neutrals. What are you on about/happened?

I guessed you were evil a week ago. But look how that went (again).

Well I had already offered my congratulations to the evils last week on their inevitable and comprehensive victory in a status. And I got all kinds of abuse for it (sore loser, jerk, etc, etc)

One week later, and the evils have won, with five from six of their number still standing and goods killing each other even when outnumbered.

Right....

Ooc:Well, we weren't really killing ourselves

The evils just had us outnumbered and were pretty good at convincing us that they were good (looks at GM)

And just to clarify,I really was intending on bringing Broken and Dwarven back, it's just that I wasn't the one with the abilities, Issun was

Issun, Kevin and I were the second alliance, which should help clarify a LOT of the crap I made up. [/dead]

Good Game everyone! I hope the next one will be just as fun now that Opal will be in it

I heard Dwarven King is hosting the next one.
Like I said on the previous page I have one in the works, but it'll be a while before I post it (Not because it isn't finished, but because DK might have a go at me.)

IC: "I assumed that Lujan was evil as well, but I didn't want to look like an idiot if he was good. I didn't think he would be the psycho though."[/dead]

Well, thanks for the compliment.

You know, we KNEW you were full of s*** since DWG's ability allowed us to know who this alliance was made up of.

Yeah, but all I got from the conversation was some reference to the Opal Deception book from the Artemis Fowl Series. And that you suspected GM; which you had made obvious in this.

And yes Bahamut, you were. But I'm presuming one of you was initially a Good Guy; because I was initially supposed to be a neutral player. As you may recall, there were initially 16 goods to 4 bads, but Opal accidently sent me the Evil's conversation alongside the other evils, so had to turn one good into a neutral.
Only a small accident, but I have been a factor towards the evil victory.

Oh, and sorry about the blaming bahamut. Getting everyone to round up on you and all. It seemed to have pissed you off a bit, and I apologise for it. Just playing the game.

Thing is, there were a lot of slip-ups during the game because of...me being quite busy during the holiday.>_>
The other mods didn't seem very excited about the game, although 'Night offered some help. So yeah, I hosted it.
EDIT: Oh and yeah, Mugendramon. He's good at these, as you can see.=D

The main mistake was that the evils WERE overstaffed at the beginning because I added DaWeirdGuy into the evil PM by mistake.
The usual ratio is at 9:2, the evil side usually has weaker powers (besides converting) because they can vote during every phase while the goods have to sit out during the night and...pray that they don't get hit. So if you're 5 people ganging up on others plus one conversion while the others had...about 7 people who stayed consistently active, it's unbalanced. That's why I started pushing the goods who didn't get my hints and in a second of frustration, I ended up dropping the largest-a**-hint-I-shouldn't-have-dropped aka the painter's rabble. That was the second big mistake since it gave some people away. Then I started pushing the evils during the later phases.

So yeah, mafia games usually don't work like that. In a traditional game:
- the characters only get revealed in the end
- you can't pick those (I actually planned to give people stuff like the Christmas Ghost, Rudolph, Billy Mack from 'Love Actually', but some people really wanted to play as someone and I saw no issues with that)
- phases last for 20-30 minutes max., so stop bitchin'
- your timezone and daily errands don't matter; if you can't get on, sucks for you
- there's no RPing
- people just vote for someone and go, no long reasons needed
- lynching mostly goods is normal however, since they're in a majority, so it's unlikely to hit an evil during the earlier rounds

Ask Dwarven King if I forgot something, but the changes were made to give it more of an event vibe.

Nonetheless, I'm glad that people were so dedicated while playing this and the evils really deserved to win, since they made the better decisions. Like Snow Miser immediately figuring out that Chaos Sonic needs to go because of the powers he has. But the goods put up a decent game considering the circumstances. I know some of them had absolutely NO clue about what was going on and being on your own is definitely harder than having a group to back you up. I feel bad about the neutrals though who had no chance to get anywhere, but still glad that they continued to play. Some of you need to stop being bitter however. Sort of stating that "I f*cking knew it, but you idiots didn't listen, so you reap what you sow" is kind of unfair if these people had less experience than you and needed more time to figure things out or were just out to play. Give everyone a chance to catch up and hopefully the next game will be better.:/

(Bringing you in was another unfair decision for the others, but I regret nothing. Gave the goods the needed push though.)

And I will be in the next one that Dwarven King will host, so keep your body ready.

Ah, I see. Well damn you for getting the luck. And Mugen in that regard.

I was so hoping I'd be the one to get converted. Every since the incident with Eisenheim's elimination and he was trying to lure people outside, I was thinking 'please come after me'. Loki was killed immediately and Neph never turned up, so I was never going to survive as a neutral on my own. All I could do was try and get onto the team that was going to win. When people were suspecting me and talking about wanting me screened for my alliance in the night, I was pleading them to do it, let it be seen I was a neutral and thus not an immediate evil threat, then maybe the evils would use this to sign me up as someone people knew wasn't an evil. I took a potshot at Raine (and even hinted I had), hoping someone would put two and two together with my character and ability and recognise my chaotic actions and reckless indifference to human life and reward me with conversion, thus gifting me my only want. Survival.

But they choose to convert Mugen. Which is completely understandable.

Guessed he would be an evil too, whilst I was being thrown out the building. You as well. I also thought Kvn, I was wrong on that. Then my fifth pick I can't remember. Was it Dwarven, or someone else? It wasn't Snow, I admit that. Well Cinna, what did I get in that PM? 3 or 4 out of 5? No wonder you didn't reply when I was so frighteningly accurate, in case I told. Ah well.

Wait, how long did you guys know and simply play along?
I think it was about when put yourself on the radar; i.e, your big rant about who was who, where you had it correct and pretty much solved the whole thing. I guess your plan was for us to kill you off, thereby proving you correct and you'd be revived by Issun? T'was a good plan, and had we not known about the alliance before hand(I think it was the nightphase before hand), it might've worked, but knowing about the alliance meant we knew that there were other people to target, that would seem unrelated and wouldn't be suspicious in killing off. And that they possibly held all the abilities.
