But things are going rough. The big tree in the middle of the hall has gone missing, president YCMaker was poisoned and put into a coma, the list with the buffet food was stolen and it looks like a tornado has raged in the hall. Who wants to ruin the end-of-the-year festivities? Everyone working in the YCM building is under suspicion, but not everyone is telling the truth.[/font][/size][/color]
[size=3][font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif][spoiler=spoiler]We know the politically correct version would be Winter-Solstice-Christmas-Hanukkah-Kwanzaa-Horus-Mithras-feast, but ain't nobody got time for dat.[/font][/size]

[size=3][color=#006400][size=4][u][b]tl;dr version:[/b][/u][/size] It's a game based on strategy, deception and luck. Every player is part of a side, either the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ one. The goal of the good guys is to get rid of the bad ones by voting who seems suspicious during the Day Phase. The goal of the bad guys is to get rid of the good ones by eliminating them one by one during the Night Phase. The side that reaches the goal first wins the game (including the players who lost).[/color]

[color=#008080][size=4][u][b]Extras:[/b][/u][/size] In addition to sides, there are different member groups. The groups get a separate thread (see below) and can discuss things among themselves in there(like asking questions, making 'alliances', etc). However, it isn't a plain guessing/vote-people-off-the-island game, as there will be bonus rounds everywhere and every player gets some sort of ability.[/color][/size][/font][color=#008080] [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif][size=3][b]HOWEVER:[/b] [b]It's not really a section-vs-section thing, so the people you're talking to in your group area may be on the opposite side.[/b] You get your sides, abilities and identities PMed to you. With a few exceptions, you're basically playing by yourself, but you aim for your side to win.[/size][/font] Alright?[/color]

Share your guesses, draw suspicion away from you, etc. RP style, half-a**ed sentences are fine, as long as we get what you’re talking about. Just make sure you can post at least once per Day Phase.

[size=3]Well first of all, you need to pick a character rooster you want to be part of. First part is what you are, second is where your area will be on the forum. Some forum mods are offering spots in their sections, so expect more areas to pop up. Technically, you don’t need to be an avid poster to join somewhere, but the odds are high that someone who likes arts will rather be in the artist group.[/size][/font]

Well, usually you get a random character, side + ability assigned to you (yes, Christmas-themed and always related to your area, in this case literature).
Although if we see that some people will die and absolutely refuse to play the game unless they can be a certain character, then yeah, you can pick.
That's to avoid one person making himself Arceus and someone else being a bunny or something. :D

If you have certain preferences though (like gender), I will pay attention to those.

Sorry, but as said above, characters will be randomized because that's to refrain some people from making themselves some overpowered superhero (and then I'll be forced to give an overpowered ability too).

I read in the prev. post answering DaWeird's quesrtion, though I jumped the gun a bit early there, sorry. I can handle whatever character I'm given though, I'll wait to be surprised.

The Literature/Writing thing kinda covers RP. RPing and Creative Writing do link, and many people in Creative Writing do RPing and vice versa.

Though i feel like splitting them up would be ideal, for this kinda thing appeals to people of those sections, so you're probably going to have a lot more of them than other sections.

Ahh, so Randomized. Okay. At least Wikipedia's there to search up this character if I dont know them. Luckily, i have no problem with any type of character. I was merely wondering if I could narrow down my options - it seems that's been done for me. XD

True... The areas are kind of provisional so far. Because if someone from TCG or Your Deck wants to expand, it would be nice to have something there too.

And yeah, although the latter is mostly for the lulz.
If you have preferences or something you don't want to be, it's fine.:3 But I'll try to pick well-known ones and most of them have some sortof connection to the holidays.

So joining this. Love the theme that are some no-good grinches out to ruin christmas for everyone at YCM and its stellar celebrity guestlist :3

Only question is that is our 'team/section' thread put in the actual section for all to view as opposed to a PM between teams? Just checking to make sure I understand because this was a factor in the Shadow Game.

Anyway, since Writers sections looks full now, I'll be a movie star/character. Someone actioney like an Indy/Bond/Bourne/etc/etc would be my preference if that's not too much trouble Cinnabonbonbon.
