Not-so-Radiant Arin
Gem-Knights actually have a decent Fusion spell that would really work if Poly got the same clause, but Gem-Knights are terribly inconsistent and they don't have a lot of power. But still, pretty cool card.
Canadian
Gem-Knights are good because few people know when to play their traps against them.
Lonk
Gem-Knights are bad until you get this in hand or Graveyard. That really isn't good odds. If there was a Gem-Knight Stratos that can search the fusion cards, Gem-Knights will become very consistent (and no, Rabbit doesn't count). Aerion Brightflame
There's the slow Gem-Turtle that isn't realy run, on top of rabbit, which is still a valid method in Rabbit-Knights and 3 copies doesn't make it to hard to get a copy in hand. Also given the amount of deck thinning they do from things live Volcanic Shell, Thunder Seahorse, Gem Armadillo, it becomes even easier to get it into hand. As for the card itself, it makes Gem-Knights alright. They can have explosive plays with it, constant discard fodder for Prismaura. However they are prone to over-extension from my expierience with them. Stopping there rush will leave them dead in the water. Though a clever player won't let that happen, if they save some backrow removal for the final push. But they are very luck based, and need a good opening hand and quick access to Fusion to do well in any game.

Not-so-Radiant Arin
>Rabbit >Armadillo >Turtle >Alex >Thunder Dragon/Volcanic Shell(for lulz) >Summoner Monk(???) >etc Explain.
It's because of the substitute Thunder Dragons and Volcanic Shell that make them inconsistent and horrible, really. Rabbit is Rabbit, so that's a horrible argument. Turtle is too slow to be of any use, as stated before. Summoner Monk is alright, I guess. If Gem-Knights had a way to mill their Fusion Spell, they might be worthwhile.
