Magician plusses the f*** out of everything just because any old effect is activated. SURE, there aren't that many other cards in the deck that can take advantage of Magician like Shark can, but think about this: if ANY of the other cards, even poorly, could take advantage of Magician's effect, then everyone would say Magician is the problem without question. Shark does exactly what it's supposed to do, exactly what Wind-Ups are supposed to do and does it well. Magician does it TOO well. It's far too fast for its own good. To say that Shark is the one that should be banned is almost like saying that Beiige should be hit because it can be discarded by Gates too easily and gets on the field too easily for Grapha. [/quote]The problem people don't think about is that just because a card is good doesn't mean it's broken. Even ignoring the fact that Magician is broken, you can point that without Shark, Wind-Ups are essentially dead. Without Magician, they're still a really cool toolbox Xyz deck that does exactly what they should be doing, but they don't loop and aren't stupid as f*ck. They're +0 Summons from the hand that in no way reward you, in and of themselves, yet people don't want to see the actual "force" behind a deck get punished instead of what enables the clearly borked force.
