Althemia
I still don't think it's that broke, it's only 2 cards, there's plenty of cards that do this which are easier.
You seem lost, dunno if this is the section for you. Also yeah this is obviously a stupid card.
Zazubat
"It's only 2 cards"
on 1 hand you sit with 3 PoG, on the other with 3 PoA. You need 15 monsters in your grave to draw the same number. It's far more reasonable than PoG will ever be. Think of other cards that let you draw 2 cards. What about Cardcar D? What about Destiny Draw (though it requires you to use D-Hero, so not that good in other decks). There also exists no cost cards that let you draw. Legacy of Yata-Garasu. It's a Trap, plus only 1 card, but it's still nice since you don't need 5 monsters in your grave. Then there's others with work well in some decks where you draw a lot, such as Reckless Greed, and that's 2 (even though you do lose two turns, but if you activate a bunch in the same turn, you will get more cards for only 2 turns). There's also others which might fit more decks, but I only mentioned a few, White Elephant's Gift is useful in some decks, and so is Trade-in. Wildflame
Hey, I'm not saying that it should come back, more like..., I wish it would. I miss having these in multiples in decks like Fabled. And I'm not sure about know wich meta-relevant deck would use this at 2. Maybe Wind-Ups and Geargia, probably Atlanteans and Agents too..., yeah, maybe it's not such a good idea after all.
Zazubat
Well if you would care to explain the point, that would maybe help? I'm getting the point that shuffling cards into your deck is pretty easy, no real cost here, just do that and draw.

I can use this in pretty much in any Deck I use by my second turn and then, since I have just refreshed my Graveyard, put some key cards back into my Deck and also drawn two card, I can now repeat what I did first turn to use another Pot of Avarice, if Pot of Avarice weren't @1. Zazubat
Speed of the game has made it increasingly easy to get 5 monsters in the grave in a single turn.
that depends on what deck you're using. Some focus on banishing, some focus on having cards still in the hand, some in the deck, and some on the field, different tastes. Some don't even focus that much on monsters, but only puts 1 guy on the field to take care of it all. You can say that about a lot of cards really.
A necessary evil is a card that needs to be in the game in order to attempt to give a player a means of making a comeback, much to some or most player's dismay. Good examples of such a thing are Tragoedia and Torrential. Having them in the game makes people think about whether they want to overextend, whilst also giving players a back-up option. In comparing it to Torrential and Mirror Force (which can be considered necessary evils), you are attempting to say that Pot of Avarice is a necessary evil also or else you would not have compared them. Zazubat
You're not making too much sense about this, I was simply saying that the staples that Torrent and Mirror are not as bad as this card, actually I'm saying that this card is more balanced than those, both because they require a cost (wait, is it a cost?), but also because they need to be in that specific deck that supports it. Anyways, I'm tired, if you feel that it's the most overpowered card ever, I probably can't make you not think that.
True, but as said, it's not as bad as other cards (Torrent, Mirror etc.) since your deck needs to support it, and that makes it more balanced. It's still not that balanced at all, don't get me wrong I ain't saying it should be at 3 or nothing, just that you're making it out so it should simply be banned when other cards should be banned too.
Having a specific timing of a Trap Card does not make it more or less broken. The sheer destructiveness of TT can screw with plays and MF causes mind games with the opponent. Avarice is basically, no matter how you look at it, a general +1. But that +1 later can set up for future decoy plays that you previously made, thus generating more advantage. evilfusion
I dont think Avarice would need to be banned, but it definitely deserves its limit. Also, Rabbit Decks love this. Rabbit itself is banished, but then you get 2 Dinos from Deck to Xyz for Laggia. After it negates something and most likely dies, there's now 3 monsters in Grave, and things like Tour Guide will easily supply more. And Rabbit Decks want their Dinos back in the Deck to bring out more. Inzectors were similar, the only one they wanted in the Grave was Hornet, and with Dragonfly and Centipede's search power, some extra draws are excellent for maintaining their advantage. Decks that can generate advantage give this card even more power.
Zazubat
Of course, that's what makes synergy between cards, you wouldn't have cards in your deck that didn't work in that deck.

Zazubat
some words on the screen. Really though as said, because it's not as staple worthy as other cards, I don't think it's that bad, it's still good in most decks. I don't think it's ban worthy, at 1 it should stay.
