I don't see too much wrong with it, all it does is allow you to draw a card or 2 cards. Maybe since you draw the cards without doing anything else. Though, throughout the years, other Spirit Monsters have seen some play here and there. The recently unbanned Tsukuyomi comes to mind, which is not a relevant card nowadays, but I remember when it was awesome. Asura Priest had a place in some decks for a while, it's always had a good effect, but powercreep.... Dark Dust Spirit was also amazing. Yamata has seen little use because the Level is it's only downside... That Fenghuang monster could have been good, but was released years too late for that. Other less prominent ones include Otohime, Hino Kago Tsushi, and Inava White Rabbit (Oh how much fun I had with it) Spirits were decent techs throughout history actually xD but they aren't playable nowadays for the most part.
