Northern Sage
2 or more (max. 5) Level 6 FIRE monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster your opponent controls or is in their Graveyard; banish that target. This card gains effects based on the number of Xyz Materialsattached to it. • 3 or more: This card gains 200 ATK and DEF for each Xyz Material attached to it. • 4 or more: This card cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. • 5: This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Name change… Sigh… I knew it was coming, but I can't make heads or tails of this name. Discuss.
Bringerofcake
You KNOW they weren't going to let that one slide, and it fits with the mythology just as well as Basilicock
Cute Rotten Yoshika
they just used the second half of cockatrice instead of the first. *shrug* OT: still really good assuming you can actually get it out

Azuh
I would've prefered the archetype name to be "Hazy Beast" but Konami really like their "Fire" analogies don't they?

EmpoleMew
I like Hazy, but I would rather them be Hazy Beasts, not Hazy Flame Hazy Flame makes more sense, since (most of) the monsters are beasts made of fire. So essentially, the name is telling you it's a (card name) made of Hazy Flames.
Blake
If you're summoning this with more than 2 materials, you're doing it wrong.

Blake
How so? Because backrow shenanigans and other cards can easily get in the way ahead of time? Because why are you Making a, technically, -4 Beater that's not even guaranteed to win you the game when you could make 2 Xyz for the same effort? Only reason I can see using it with any more materials than 2 is so that you don't have a monster banished by Rekindling in the EP, but you should be pushing for game there, anyways. And that's just 3 materials which is a cheap beater.
