Bull3tM0nk3y
Divine Judgment of the Spellbooks Spell/Quick During the End Phase of the turn you activated this card, add any number of "Spellbook" Spell Cards from your Deck to your hand, except "Divine Judgment of the Spellbooks", up to the number of Spell Cards activated this turn after this card was activated, then Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck, whose Level is less than or equal to the number of cards you added to your hand this way. You can only activate 1 "Divine Judgment of the Spellbooks" per turn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7e_pj-yjic&feature=share&list=UUDiej_7hxk5vptSJG03tclw And because my last few posts on here sparked a fight on here... Blake
It's bad because Prohibition, Droll & Lock Bird, and Thunder King Rai-Oh are cards. That video is bad and wrong and should never be listened to.
Bull3tM0nk3y
Oh good it's you. That doesn't stop the +8 CARDS.
Blake
It totally does. Each of those stop the +9. And, I mean, it only benefits the deck's main goal and makes it so that it can deck out by turn 4, it's obviously bad.
EmpoleMew
It's a bunch of useless advantage you can't do anything with. I mean what are you going to do, summon a 3600 Trag?
Resident Fascist
if I got £1 for everytime a ygo board discussed this fucking card I'd be an millionare. tldr: It rewards you for throwing all your resources at your opponent and honestly is the biggest example of poor design I can give in a while. Nah man, overextending is bad and it makes it so that you have to discard in the End Phase. This is fine design, things like Wind-Up Shark are the kind of bad design you should be hating on. Oh, because a card that rewards you for blowing out all of your resources to gain more resources is totally good design. I don't feel it's as busted as everyone is saying, but "EP I ADD 6 CARDS TO MY HAND SUMMON HPoP" isn't really fair. continue being sarcastic, it's funny. Sleepy
This topic has so many "I see what you did there" posts", which is the only thing separating it from the other ones we already recently had about this card.
Resident Fascist
The sarcasm was rather blatant. I know, I know. I was just playing along to make this thread more fun. you didn't read my ninja edit did you
Sleepy
Leaving sarcasm behind, it doesn't take much to realize this card equals a stupid amount of pluses, but truth be told, I have never used Spellbooks, so from my lack of experience I'd like to ask: Isn't the guy from the video playing it a little too wastefully? mido9
It's like anime card of sanctity did a fusion dance with spellbook of secrets and E-Tele
Canadian
Yay a new thread on this card. I was getting worried. We almost went a day without it on the front page.
Wildflame
I'm really considering running Infinite Cards with this... If you're playing Spellbooks and haven't won by your second turn, you are doing it wrong.
Expelsword
This is like Rekindling level stupidity, but it doesn't have the excuse of having woefully little good targets when it was released.
Dementuo
I'm still disgusted by this card's existence. And I even play the damn deck.
Lonk
Welp, knowing that this card exists means that Konami will have to eventually bring DMoC to a limit...
Wildflame
Welp, knowing that this card exists means that Konami will have to eventually bring DMoC to a limit... No. They don't need that anymore.
Lonk
No. They don't need that anymore. Konami is high on something right now, they aren't thinking clearly. If they really are going so far to make Prophecies broken, then DMoC being limited wouldn't surprise me.
mido9
But doesnt every tier prophecy deck skip over temper and just use justice?
Dementuo
But doesnt every tier prophecy deck skip over temper and just use justice? 1) "Tier" Prophecy doesn't exist yet 2) All of the Lv3s can be run without harming consistency, since you have a boss monster that each one can grab, and 2 of them are beaters in their own right. ihop
But doesnt every tier prophecy deck skip over temper and just use justice? Temperance is pretty strong if you're Cordero Spencer and you use it twice in a turn.

From what I recall, anyway. So it's already up there. :v
Wildflame
You can still run DMoC without running Temperance if open with Judgement. Just Special Summon Justice at the end phase and tribute it for DMoC and Life, discard DMoC due hand limit and bring it back next turn with Life.
