Rank-Up!
SPELL
[ Normal ]

Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; Xyz Summon 1 Xyz monster with the same Type and Attribute, and 1 Rank higher than that target, using the target as the Xyz Material (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on the new Xyz Monster and must be equal or more than the required number of Xyz Materials as the Xyz Summoned monster.)

[hr]Simply because I think simplicity is best; why be specific and have an additional nommy-effect, when you can just oh-so-simply Rank the f*ckers up?

EDIT: Balanced by adding the need to meet or surpass the required number of Materials.

Definitely like the idea, and would more than likely become a staple or semi-staple in the game. I could see it getting at least semi-limited if it were to be released though. I agree the thought to meet the requirements or exceed them more or less balance this card out. Card reminds me of LV monsters, slightly. Honestly, I like the card. Good job.

That came to my mind as well.

OT: I like this card, although the idea of Leviathan Dragon becoming Laggia/Dolkka is kinda scary tbh.

EDIT: Excluding the Highest Ranked monster for each type, there are 11 Xyz monsters (belong to 6 different types) that this won't work on, but that is such a small number compared to the amount of targets this card does have.

Awful design.

Not all abusable monsters have legitimate targets exist at this time, but it basically removes any and all cost an Xyz has in exhange for making a -1 Xyz that'll then pay for itself somehow. It's a spell card that inherently removes the limits of monsters, if any, in exchange for a, most likely, more powerful monster.

An example is that TGU + This = Thunder Spark Dragon, the Evilswarm Dragons, and the R4 Evolzars,. Inherently, this is not a problem, as TGU's a problem card... But Rank 3 is EXTREMELY easy to make, even without her. It makes any Rank 3 into some of the best Rank 4s that are 3 materials or non-generic to date.

And that's for Leviathan Dragon ALONE. The card is just awful, abusive design that lends itself to making some of the cards that are restricted by their materials way too easy to summon. Would it make an impact? Who knows, but the design and theory behind it is enough to make the call.

Not once did I see constructive criticism. What good is your presence on this thread if you're just going to put down your negative opinion and not even once suggest how to improve the card?

All I can take from a ridiculous rant is "It is abusable" which, in all honest, needed no morethan "It is abusable." with examples, which having been previously mentioned has already been spotted.

I can take negative feedback, in fact I'd prefer it so I can use it to improve my creations, but why give me a logicless argument with not one idea of improvement, especially since you calling this bad design should therefore be able to offer it? You're wasting my time reading it, and you're wasting your time posting it. ¬_¬
